Thankyou for your comments guys.

Drachen, keep in mind that building the last item doesn't happen all the time (euphemism). Zeke's Herald doesn't cost a lot and give Jax a good combinaison of what he needs end game to be truly over powered.

I have started trying to play Jax as a jungler (and I really love it this way! He is a quite good early Jungler but an incredible Ganker): starting with Wriggles Lantern and next, I come back to this build (starting by Phage or Zeal for easier Ganks).
The fact is that mid game is a little more difficult if you didn't manage ganks (first weak defense then quite weak AD). But when you end the Set you are really unstoppable 30 seconds of jungle between 2 fights and you are back with full health! Moreover the Steal of life make you way harder to kill...
So I may modify my build if I keep on finding clue demonstrating the good alchimy between my base Set and steal of life.

Frozenfenix. I had exactly the same problem. I love playing Jax but I was really in a bad mood because early was very hard and end game either I had no defense or I had no AD. With the first I dealt massive dommages but died in 1-3 secs in each fights with the second I was a semi tank very useless because I didn't dealt enough dommages to help the team and opponents just ignore me until I was the last survivor.

This stuff is really a good compromise. And it works!

Gj, before looking at your guide, id try building wriggles, witsend, cutlass, stinger ive tried everything and no matter how I built jax he always died before doing any damage and felt useless. I figured jax was underpowered and stopped using him, got fed up with trying to make him work. This was the build I was looking for, now Iv gone 13-1, 10-2, 7-1, he works the way he should and it reminds me of pre remake days thanks

Gj with the guide, iv'e always been more of an ad Jax even before the dodge nerf. Also, I would add that Empower resets the attack cd, using it right after a Q(Leap Skill) can cause you to attack twice instantly if used right. I would also remove the Zeke's Herald simply because it's not that good and is more of an early game item.

Thanks for your answers.

Savior, I agree with you, Health quints can be used and I've hesitated between them and Steal of life. 78HP or 6% steal of life is a hard choice. I personnally prefer this way because I think you would need invest points in Vigor (which seems to be a bad choice making you loose Veteran's Scars ) to keep enough HP regen to hold your line.

AP quints increase your burst especially early game that's right and will scare a little bit your opponent the first time you use Empower on him. It must also facilitate the cree. However (in my opinion), the real and only ability you have to care about runes is to keep Jax alive in good conditions in this ****** early game. And those Quints don't increase this ability.

Agoney, thx for your advise, I will try to.

Nicely done. I personally think that you should use AP quints or Health quints though!

Nj so far. Split up the section about your masteries and your masteries. Add a situational items section. Talk about people who you can face solo top and how to counter the. Otherwise nj, +1 for the great info.
