Void Shift (PASSIVE)
Malzahar Passive Ability
Story of Malzahar, The Prophet of the Void
Summon Voidling
An awesome passive as it helps you farm, harass and even helps you wreck turrets.
It has a lifespan of 21 seconds, know this, master this:
After 7 seconds it will grow (+50% AD and armor), after 14 seconds it will frenzy (+100% AS)
Also know it's incontrollable so it will act on its own, do know: it attacks enemies whom are affected by. Malefic Visions
So if you want it to focus on the enemy champion, make sure you cast Malefic Visions on them first.
It does give gold when killed so don't overextend it.
The voidling also will work wonders vs turrets where you would only do about ~ damage without it with it you will deal at least twice that amount.
Call of the Void
This is awesome as it deals damage twice when placed correctly, half damage near the edges and hits once exactly in the middle of the "wall."
I mostly use this as a farming move and to harass the champions early game, it can also be used to silence their entire team during teamfights if they are all in range.
AP scaling on this is 0.8, (!)but remember IT HAS A DELAY SO IT ISN'T INSTANT DAMAGE(!)
Never place this directly onto your opponent as it will miss, place this a little behind them if they're running, or in front of them when you're running.
This can also be used to scout bushes as it reveals some terrain for a few seconds.
Null Zone
This is used for farming and to place under champions while you are channeling your ultimate. It does hp % per second instead of just damage per second above that is has an AP scaling of 0.125% AP/hp/s which simply means that for every 80 AP you get this gains 1% extra damage/s
Malefic Visions
This is awesome as every time a unit dies when this is casted upon them you regain mana, all the more reason to use this on minions it will also pass on to the nearest enemy unit if the unit you casted it on dies, I use this as my second harassing move.
The AP scaling on this is 0.8 with DoT over 4 seconds.
If you only have mana for about 1 spellcast use this to clear a minion wave and to regain mana, after that you should have enough for at least 2 spellcasts.
If an enemy champion is just out of reach use it on a minion close to the champion to still affect them, do know that most people tend to run as soon as they see an affected minion.
Nether Grasp
Your killer, this is what makes Malzahar, Malzahar.
It has a 1.5(!!!) AP ratio which is simply sickening, above that this also suppresses your target for 2.5 seconds which works wonders when you placed your Null Zone underneath them as it will make sure it does about 30% hp over that duration and if you casted Malefic Visions it does even more damage, does the champion survive?
No problem, just cast a Call of the Void behind them to make sure you grab the kill.
Ignite can be casted without interrupting your channeling.
If you're a fan of the Malefic Visions->Null Zone->Nether Grasp->Ignite combo you should take it as it deals massive amounts of damage, but it will weaken late game as your normal spell combo is just about enough to finish a champion off.
