I finished a match getting the gunblade before zhonyas and it was also pretty good because it gave me more survivability. The only downfall is that it doesn't give you as much hp or ap early on. When you have zhonyas as your 5th, you'll be hitting them so hard their Grand Ma will feel it. And thats really what its all about. Smacking Grand Ma's, am I wrong?

The reason I do Zhonyas after Lich Bane is because the game is pretty much over for them after you get it. Plus theres the off chance that you'll need a different item for the 6th slot. But I'll try it out to see if its a better way for me.

I can see how the spell vamp would be useful, I hadn't thought about it before. Looks like a pretty good build. However,I would recommend you finish Gunblade before getting Zhonya's.

Seems like it could be fun. Imma try it out and will leave any tips if need be.
