I understand the boots, but I still don't see why you don't get transfusion 1/3/5 since it's so important for your lane-stay.
Firstly, i like boots since nobody mid (except another vlad) can seem to dodge or handle the fact that u can consistently and irritatingly leech their health whilst healing yours (causes them to overcommit or simply degrades their health until you get ur ult or ignite to finish them - works 80% of my games much better than starting with amplifying tome so try it out).
Secondly, vlad is NOT A TANK. I do not hav tank items here like warmogs so i hav not suggested his use as a spell vamp tank. Additionally, these items do not compromise a large AP pool since revolvers are mathematically a very cheap and efficient way of building ap, not to mention they can be bought easily since they are all composed of amp tomes (which are 435g) so you dont hav to wait ages on gold, you can continously spend and continously get stronger! So, now that we hav established that revolvers actually make him an AP champ, this leads to the spell vamp effectiveness; this is really where it gets tricky since you can use it to sustain fights and burst just as well as if you had built rylais or zhonyas straight up (unless of course u manage to make void staff).
In conclusion, this a vlad with huge AP and huge health 'steal', however can still be focused down and is not a tank. Since spell vamp is not capped, you can technically make 120% spellvamp (if u dont want boots) or 100% spellvamp (if u turn the revolvers into gunblades). Anyway try it out for urself guys!

GL HF!
Also, why not get transfusion at level 3 then tides at level 4? I always level my transfusion first regardless since it helps your last hitting and lanestay, and the smaller cooldown is vital.
I think this build is really interesting, and the math is very convincing. However, I would like to see how spell vamp build is more useful, or better in certain situations, than just straight AP. Maybe you have more health as Vlad with straight AP and do more damage. Also, as Vlad you should be doing your best not to take damage and let the tank tank. Even if you have a lot of health you are not a tank. Because even if you have a high health pool you are still not a tank with this build. So showing examples of how having spell vamp over AP has helped you win fights / games would be good.
Also, if you WANT to make him more like an offtank, maybe you should use armor seals and health quints. You could also give him a more tanky item, because when he's stunned he's going to go down fast and he can only use transfusion to get him back up, but it might be too late with no tankiness.
Overall I really like the idea, but to me to rate it positively I would like you to show examples of applications where spellvamp is better than a standard build. I understand that it's supposed to be a fun idea but to be useful it needs application. I will not rate for now.
