I tried Leona jungle with both my AD and AP set of runes. Both are really slow. Personally, I don't like Wriggle's Lantern for AD junglers. For me, by the time I get wriggle's, I find that only the ward and the lifesteal is very useful, seeing that I usually take Bloodrazors over Lantern for my attack speed-based champs.

I find Leona still able to be quite a good tank. Zenith to initiate, Eclipse to enhance protection and Stun to hit major targets, Ult whenever I can hit 3 or more (Sunlight effect rather than slow, but preferably stun as well). Her skills make her quite good as tank/initiator and she works well as a chaser because of Zenith and her stuns/slows, so she'll probably be good as a chaser, but its hard to build damage/AP on her because she seriously has weak AP ratios and slow attacks and weak attacks.

Anyway, sorry for trolling your build. I was probably angry that day because I met up with a lot of weak teams who insisted on having no tanks even if there were at least 3 free.

Dyrus was trolling. He's advocating a jungle build with Leona that goes 4:30 to get to level 4.

"Quints are what allows you to finish the jungle in 4:30" when he runs health quints that have NO impact on jungle speed.

The build requires getting fed decently right?

I started out about 2/5 in a game. Ended up 13/5 and won a 4v5. Is that enough proof to you that carry Leona CAN CARRY when built with Wit's End and Tri Force?

Wit's End is what's purchased by tanky DPS characters to give a quick boost to their damage and magic resistance. It has a great combination of stats. 1.5 Attack Speed is fast. She has no steroids for attack speed, but neither does Irelia. Aren't I correct? Irelia goes Tri Force, Wit's End, Randuin, Banshee's just like how I play Leona. She's just as good an auto attacker, the only thing is that Irelia has damaging skills. Although her skills don't deal much damage because Trinity Force doesn't give good damaging offensive stats but is good due to its slow, utility, and burst. And how many Leona's have you seen in ranked? I've been in games in ranked where my Leona would always go full tank. They end up feeding because they can't deal decent damage. I've been in games where the other team have lost in ranked because they just couldn't deal enough damage because their Leona went full tank. Her CD's are long, she MUST auto attack in between. She has tanky stats, she CAN afford to contribute some cash into Tri Force AND an item that significantly increases her tankiness. The item gives 740 golds wortth of MR, and 1050 Gold's worth of ASpeed. The stats on paper cost 1890, the extra 40 damage for 110 more gold is a steal. I'm sure buying a BF Sword costs 15x more than that. Wit's End is a cost efficent item. Also, Tri Force being a core item on ANY CHARACTER deems that they're carrying. Elementz and Dyrus use Tri Force on Leona. Why is Tri Force deemed a Carrying item? It requires 4k worth of farm. Also, just because most people get Shurelya's on her mean she's a support? Irelia get's Shurelya's as well.

Your arguements are invalid, also, your guides frankly suck. Read them, your builds are horrible. Warmog's on Vlad's core? Full AP Cho'Gath is only a trololol build to watch people get nuked on high CDs. Jax without Tri Force and Atma's in his item listing but instead has Cleaver and Malady in there? Unacceptable. Amumu with Warmog? Amumu carrying FORTIFY??? Who ****ing carries Fortify? Such a trash spell.

I've seen most Leonas play, and obviously, my own self when I play Leona, so far, the best ones are the godly tankers, followed up by the ones who try focusing on semi-tank, damage etc. There was only one exception where a Leona used Trinity and a ton of tank items (aka full-tank with extras).

Yes, I admit that is pretty much the best Leona Tanky DPS consists of Trinity. But Wits End? Attack speed doesn't work well, since she still hits slow. Magic damage thats come with? Not that epic either.

Most of the times, the Leona's that don't get fed much will turn out being weak in damage and not so tanky. This builds require you getting fed decently. Are you always fed THAT well?

Also, like you said. She's naturally tanky. Tankier than Shen, tankier than Taric, tankier than Amumu. Only tanks tankier than her are the ones with steroids, Galio and Rammus.

Hey you realize that guide dryus posted was a troll guide right? She's terrible at tanky dps compared to a Xin etc. TF is ok on her, wit's end is questionable. Although she is naturally somewhat tanky, you still need plenty of tank items for her to fulfill that role. She does the job of tanky dps really poorly compared to other champs.

Oh, also. I have no idea how you're given a decent amount of rep here. I really don't get what makes you such a great person? Bluntly saying another's damage items "suck". Leona doesn't have high AP ratios because she has all damaging spells. Her spells are combo'd to give burst making Tri Force more than mediocre on her. Her single target is great and all low CD melee/gap closer characters are viable with Tri Force. Leona is strongest played tanky DPS. Her support is lacking, because of no heals or vast amounts of CC or auras. Her tank is lacking because she's simply outclassed like I said below. She's innately tanky which allows for her to build items such as Tri Force.

A ton of your damage items are not that good, owing to the fact Leona is relatively painless. She is a great tank if you use well, a great damage dealer if you use well (that is really hard to be) and pure support for a naturally strong champion isn't good. She has no heals, no boosts, etc except sunlight, which makes her important to take down, one good feature in tanks. Besides that, it isn't that good for Leona to play support or damage
