Varus is a great harasser, he is also imo pretty damn OP, he is extremely good in 1v1, but not tanky for a 5v5, however, his ult is a game changer as it cant snare all the enemy champions once.

Use Ghost to chase the enemy, stack W and finish with Q or E

Use exhaust to secure your kill, or for running away in tight situations. Do the same with exhaust, as you would do with ghost

What I do with Varus, is harass. Last hit the minions, and do not let the enemy kill any minions.

Get vampiric scepter to sustain in lane, enough to get a kill and buy Greaves. Afterwards stack your W and slow them with E. Then stack W and finish them with your Q

By mid game, Varus is pretty OP, get the phantom dancer, and let your bow go wild, get some easy kills and teleport back to get the Bloodthrister.

Varus is a deadly AD Carry late game, get more kills, return to build a Trinity force, as that gains you incredible amounts of attack speed, and damage. By the time you have your trinity force, you should have won the game. If you havnt yet, get the Guardian angel, and finish it off. The last item is just for looks. If you play Varus right, you would not need it
