First of all, thanks for your upvote, it means a lot!

Personally, I feel like it's a waste of a skill when you can't proc your blight. I would go for Hail of Arrows so that you can make any escapes you need, or slow the enemy to get first blood. I feel like at this level, utility takes priority over 10 more damage per AutoAttack (especially due to the fact that you won't have high attack speed this early in the game).

Fair enough, I agree to some extent. I just feel that free 10 extra damage per hit at level 1 is just too good to pass up, it really helps on those last hits or in case you need to push the lane. Against carries and some supports (not tanky), that 10 extra damage will hurt a bit.
For me, it has been the fastest way to get to level 2, and that matters quite a bit for me when choosing a first skill.

I think you're absolutely right, and I'll update the guide soon to reflect the changes I've been making lately in-game. Rushing damage items instead of ASPD usually works a lot better on Varus.

In your Item suggestions, You might want to consider adding in Banshee's Veil, as it will add more survivability than Maw of Malmortius.
Although you explained the situations for the items well, you didn't explain WHY they are good, or how they are good FOR Varus. Some items are good on certain chars that aren't as good on others. (Obviously). If the reader better understands HOW the item will affect them, they will better know WHEN they should get said item.

Thank you for your suggestions, I totally agree with them and I'll try to implement them in the next update.

Once again, thank you for your upvote and suggestions, I really appreciate it.

Quoted:
Start with Blighted Quiver for the 10 extra Magic damage at level 1 (huge bonus), at level 2 if the enemy is pushing and aggressive get Hail of Arrows, otherwise get Piercing Arrow for the harass and finish. At level 3 get the one you didn't get at 2.

Next, I want to get Attack Speed to take advantage of the Lifesteal I got earlier, so I usually get Zeal.

the faster you can rush The Bloodthirster or Infinity Edge the better.

Yes. Lol.

This made me happy.

Overall, Good guide. Looking forward to installments on your unfinished bits.

Best of luck, and upvoted out of goodwill. :)

Nice guide you should think about the Havoc one more time, as people showed me its not very useful.

You got some parts missing, waiting to see the coming update.

Np, what about madred's, if the team is like off tank??? What about Situational items? Tricks, Tips?? Mastery trees options, Summoners Spells (options).

What about an AP varus? doesn't the W (Blight) is based in AP? Like Berserk's Boots, Malay, Wit's End, Hextech Gunblade, Ionic Spark and so on?

Anyways keep the good job and well try to put teh guide more colourfull and smexy and i will vote it up

Got some of those things already semi-covered but I'll still work on developing my guide further. My guide doesn't really defend building Varus as AP other than using Surge, I've tried both and IMO AD Varus is the way to go.

Like your build, but cant say that i agree w/ the hail over the blight. check out my build. It may change your mind :)

Thanks for the feedback! What do you mean with "hail over the blight"?

Hey man! You're right, I should add Frozen Mallet to the guide, it completely passed me by even though I usually build it. Thanks for the tip.

God forbid the carry get the kills ;)

I know, right? It's like they don't want their AD carry to get kills...

So I tried it a few times and it was ok,I still prefer the flash for an escape, but it's not a bad choice, don't forget to add color, pictures or just some kind of coding to your guide and i will upvote it

Glad you liked it! Well, if you have a support with heal, rush Vampire Scepter or don't mind spending some gold on pots, you may consider going Flash+Surge. Will do soon, thanks!

Well i just played him once, but shouldn't you get frozen mallet somewhere? because it gives you hp and slow your enemies... might be indeed a good item for save you from squishness and slow enemies... just wondering about this option
