Spells:

LoL Summoner Spell: Exhaust

Exhaust

LoL Summoner Spell: Teleport

Teleport

Introduction

Well basically this is the way i use Vayne most of the time but occasionaly i have to adapt to the enemy team. Masteries are the usual you have your boosted attack power and that boosted xp for a tad quicker lvl ups. Runes i prefer to use a mix of things such as cooldowns, attack speed, damage, and health since Vayne is quite a squishy character. ya

Early + Late Game

Early Game
Well i usually dont lane with vayne because i prefer mid. But your main tool of harrassing would be tumble early on. After you get their health fairly low you should have your other abilities so with the help of her passive you should tumble exhaust get in front and use the crossbow to launch emm backwards. Dont forget if you have your ult tumble will allow cloak for a few seconds. Also with the cooldown bonuses your tumble should be at a very low cooldown.

Later in Game
You should be somewhere between half way or completed with the item build. You should stick with the basic combo though and use your tumble exhaust ult cbow and tumble some more for that extra damage. Dont forget lauching people into walls gets you bonus damage and they become stunned. Also this is around the time you wanna be teleporting around the map to take out enemy turrets.

Escaping Bad Situations
You have a pretty high movement speed and many of your abilities help you. You can use tumble to roll away (you can activate ult first to make tumble cloaked and for the extra speed bonus). If they are still on your tail you can use your crossbow to shoot em back and possibly hit them into a wall and stun them. And if that still isnt enough you can add in your exhaust to slow emm down and weaken thema bit.

Summoner Spells

So I would go with teleport and exhaust preferably. Early and late game tele will allow you to fly across the map defending turrets or DESTROYING them. Exhaust will also come in handy in stunning during team fights, stunning so you can run away, and just stunning to get the kill.

Your Item Build

You wanna stick with dorans blade for that boosted damage and health early on because vayne is very squishy. Once you die or decide to recall you should buy a few health potions and if you have the money start going for the berserkers boots. Once you complete the boots you should start going for madreds bloodrazor (i prefer starting it with the recurve bow). You are a little vulnerable while building madreds but you should be able to handle it. Next start going for your phantom dancer because with that huge attack speed bonus and your madreds 4percent health killer make a great combo. After that you wanna go for the black cleaver because it provide boosted damage, attack speed, and gives you armor penetration. After that the last 2 item slots are really up to you. I prefer going for that frozen mallet and infinity edge because the mallet has that slowed movement speed for enemies and provides quite a bit of health for the all squishy vayne. The infinity edge provides a huge damage boost and a critcal hit percentage.

Skill Sequence

Here is a quick over view of Vaynes passive and abilities:

Night Hunter (Passive):

Vayne gains 40 movement while she moves towards and enemy champion.

Tumble:

Vayne tumbles a few spaces in the direction of your curser and gains bonus physical damage (55%/60%/65%/70%/75% of current AD) for her next attack.

Silver Bolts: (passive)

Every third consecutive hit or ability used on a target is dealt 30/40/50/60/70 true damage plus 4%/5%/6%/7%/8% of the targets max health as true damage.

Condemn:

Vayne Targets an enemy and shoots a giant bolt. It deals 60 / 100 / 140 / 180 / 220 (+0.5 per bonus attack damage) of initial damage and knocks the target backwards. If it collides with a wall/tower it deals and additional 60 / 100 / 140 / 180 / 220 (+0.5 per bonus attack damage) and stuns the target for 1.5 seconds.

Final Hour (ultimate):

Vayne readies herself and gains an additional 35/55/75 AD and in addition to that when she tumbles she becomes stealthed for 1.5 seconds and her Night Hunter effect is quadrupled. The effect lasts 8/10/12 seconds.

I prefer going for tumble first then the crossbow. After that do silver bolts once then alternate between cbow and tumble of course upping your ult when you can. Save maxxing out silver bolts til the end.

The Combo
Get Q first, E at rank 2, and W at rank 4.

Then max R>Q>W>E.

Max W before E. Max W before E.

"Why?"

Because of common sense.

What the hell are you gaining by maxing E first? At rank 5 it's still a 12 second cooldown, meaning that you probably won't be able to use it twice in one small skirmish no matter if it's rank 1 or rank 5. Doublelift said, during HotshotGG's Vayne playtesting, "You use your E for the knockback and stun, so leveling it up doesn't really have a point".

While E does fine damage, it's also extremely mana-consuming. Considering that Vayne's mana pool is one of the lowest, if not the lowest in the game out of all the mana champions, you don't want to be ranking up a skill that you can't consistently rely on for damage.

W on the other hand is a passive source of huge TRUE damage. Autoattack+ Tumble attack+another autoattack is extremely easy to get off and deals a huge spike of damage.

Pros and Cons

Pros
- High damage output
- Great at 1v1
- Can take down tanks very quickly
- Good chaser
- Advantage in the jungle due to her E

Cons
- Extremely squishy
- Focused in team fights
- No AoE, cannot farm minions quickly
- Has to stay on one target to maximize her damage output

Dont FORGET...

- Vayne has very low health and is very squishy, so don't put yourself in a situation to get focused by a lot of people.

- Stay away from champions with charges and gap closers (ex. Xin Zhao and Jax). You don't want enemies in your face.

- Get red buff whenever you can, the bonus damage and slow is a big help.

- You are really good at ganking, so do it when you can.
