I put 9 masteries in defence for the following reasons:

1st.With 3 masteries in armor and with 3 at magic resist u wont feel so squeezy at the start

2nd.I put 2 masteries on dodge and 1 in nimbleness so when i am hunting the enemy i can run faster if a minion hit me and i make a dodge.

If you complete these items you will be able to make a PENTA KILL

1.The Black Cleaver {-- One of the best choices due to it's massive flat armor penetration in form of a debuff after using your auto attacks. 3 stacks meaning 3 auto attacks will reduce the targets armor by 45 for 5 seconds. During this time you and nearby AD champions will deal more damage to the target.

2.Infinity Edge {-- Expensive, but it gives you a lot of AD and massively improves your crits. A very effective but also quite expensive choice and it doesn't give you any Attack Speed. Still a nice option for the Lategame and for your last slot.

3.The Bloodthirster {-- Nice AD and Lifesteal. If maxed out, +100 AD and +25% Lifesteal are a lot. Keep in mind you loose the bonus AD and Lifesteal upon death so you'll have to play it safe or you won't benefit much from this item as it's not worth the gold without the bonus.

4.Phantom Dancer {-- A second Phantom Dancer? Yes, a second Phantom Dancer! It gives you a lot of Attack Speed, Crit Chance and Movement Speed. Since you go for a lot of Attack Speed additional Crit Chance will pay off nicely every now and then but don't expect too much since your base AD ain't very high.

5.Madreds Bloodrazor{--this a good item against tanks and also it gives u a bit armor that may be usefull for towerdives

Summoner Spells

I always take ghost as 1st spell cuz it helps me to chese the enemy or to escape.if u cahse an enemy and use ghost u may have more than 500 movement speed and it helps u to take more than 1 kill.
i take this as 2nd summoner spell and it help me to take many eazy kills.
if u dont agree with taking ghost then you can take exhaust it as useful as ghost.
this summoner spell will help you to make an extra damage and reduce heal of enemy aslo when u cast this u should attack him and kill him while his heal is reduced.

this is a spell for supports too.
why take that purpose of this build is not to die!.
i reccomend this spell only for noobs or for these are trying 1st time vayne

Night Hunter
Great passive to hunt your enemies down. Especially when you have triggered your ult.

"There's no use in running..." *sighs and runs after the victim*

Awesome for positioning in teamfights and chasing enemies, also you can flee with this in combination with flash you'll almost get always away. If you don't have it use tumble, autoattack, condemn, tumble to run ^^

*dodge, dodge, dodge* "I have no time for nonsense."

Silver Bolts
Ahh.. this skills whispers to you "I melt the tanky ones for you" you just have to love this skill it's amazing.

"Let this purified element wash the evil out of your blood"

Shoot your enemies away and stick them to a wall, get distance, save your teammates or knock them into the crowd of your team. With a bit of practise you can literally destroy the enemies within a teamfight by disabling one of them or getting their biggest threat down within seconds.

"You have fallen to the dark arts, you're condemned!"

Final Hour
This one gives you a decent amount of damage, quadrouples your passive and gives stealth after tumbling for 1,5 seconds. It will save your life, destroy your enemies or simply confuse them to hell.

Team Work

As Vayne, you're a hunter. The most important thing for you to do in a game is to choose your prey, and hunt them til they fear you in every team fight and are hesitant about fulfilling their role. And then you need to make them fear you some more til they just plain ragequit.

Selecting your prey

Regardless of build, with a decent attack speed, Vayne can take out any target. With ghost on and your ultimate, as long as you approach from an angle where you're not likely to take any real CC punishment, you can pick off a victim extremely quickly if you target the right person. Generally speaking you should prioritise based on the effectiveness of the enemy champion. Their effectiveness is also not just based around their damage but based on how well the player is actually using them. If you've got a bunch of high damage dealers on a team who are bad players individually but an amazing Janna keeping them alive, then Janna is your target.

Vayne is fast as lightning with her ult on if she's storming towards a target, even the most cowardly of enemies wont be able to get away from you without blowing summoners if you're making a beeline for them. You should pick out your target and mow them down. Activate your ult + ghost if you have it and smash them into a wall if there is one available, then just blast their HP down. Tumble constantly as it will keep throwing off any sort of enemy focus on you unless they purchase an Oracle. If they have one, chances are you're tanky enough to take out your target and escape anyway, and they've wasted 400 gold on you.

You should always try and go for the squishiest targets first since, as good as Vayne takes down tanky targets, she takes down squishies in a matter of seconds. Try approaching from different angles. You dont really need to stay behind your team all the time if you've got enough confidence to sneak around behind the enemy and have some sort of vision on them to make sure they're not going to catch you alone. If your tank engages from the front and you can wander in behind a Veigar with 1k AP blasting your team to bits, then you can easily take him out before he and his team even knew what happened.

If you're up against a team of tanky DPS and find yourself wondering who to focus, usually the person with the most disruptive ability is the best choice. A team of tanky DPS with an actual tank amongst them? Focus the tank. Most champs cant do anything against a tank but hope to wear them down, but Vayne is not one of those champions. Even a curl-balling Rammus or an ulti'd Alistar cannot withstand her sustained DPS.

Target selection and elimination is key to Vayne. Pick your target well and take them out. Vayne profits from hitting them hard and fast before they knew what hit them, so remember that when you approach them. Shock & awe tends to work best. Flashing in over a wall behind someone in a jungle and pinning them against that same wall with your E and killing them before they can respond not only looks bad ***, it gives them and their team mates no real chance to save them unless they're very, very fast. Vayne profits from team fight chaos, so exploit that to your full advantage. She has the mobility to position herself in places that are advantageous to herself so you should never feel like you have to hide behind the tank like an Ashe or Corki. Be aggressive and you'll profit, but dont ever be suicidal.
