Welcome to my Veigar guide. As a long time Veigar player helping friends with builds and strategies, I guess I'm just taking the time to lazily make this guide. The role of Veigar in the entire game is to be an AP Nuke. You are very good with CC, given you land your stun. Your Dark Matter deals out TONS OF DAMAGE, as does Primordial Burst. You are very good at focusing down one enemy, and taking out their entire health bar in just 2-3 attacks. You may have some issues early game though, as Veigar is very, very squishy.

For runes, It's really up to you what you want to get. I get the magic pen. for early game, and flat ability power for early game as well. I don't even know why I do this.

Not much to explain, really. Just a basic mage caster setup with Flash/Clarity.

Farming is SO SO SO important as Veigar. Anytime you can, last hit a minion with your Q. It will permanently make you gain 1 AP everytime you do. If you do this right, you can easily get an extra 50+ AP just by last hitting.

Team work as Veigar is pretty important too. You may not be able to contribute to the overall teamfight with damage, your stun can turn a fight around. Really fast. As Veigar, your role in team fights is to focus one of two people.

1. People with high AP.
2. People who are squishy.

Pros

1. Very high AP ratios for good damage.
2. Stun can hit multiple people if placed right.
3. You're evil.
4. Your Q gives you amazing farmability and additional AP
5. Your ult tears apart any other mage that moves.
6. Deathfire Grasp is an AMAZING item to lead a combo with.


Cons

1. You are VERY Squishy.
2. If you're doing well, you WILL be focused.
3. People pick on you for your size.
4. He is VERY mana hungry earlygame.
