after landing his Q he can hold it while inside cage and wait until its over to Q2. if the lee player is good you lose all counter play (aside from R counterplay ofc).

Why veigar support
Pros -
your damage scales to late game as long as youre not VERY behind even as a support.
you provide a good tool to catch and punish enemies that dont respect the cage range.
your cage can be used as a tool to get people off your adc, or even block entire jungle paths.
your cage CAN PREEZE MINION WAVES. amazing tool to help your adc manage wave state.
Funny outplay R button.

Some may question the support item upgrade choice.
its simple. its just by far the best.
youre a champ most chamapions cant risk trading with for fun mid-late game, chances are if youre in a fight after the 25 minute mark, you either expload the enemy or get 1 shot. Having it gives you a very needed window to react and return damage, making sure you dont die with your R still unused.
Also, the other sup upgrades are pretty worthless to you.
zaczac is decent, but the ap scaling on it is there for show, and when it actually starts to add up you already 1 shot everything that matters and so the extra damage wont change anything.

Item choice
why tear item:
more early game mana = more abilities to spam at enemies = more abilities that hit enemies = more ap from passive.
the shield you get from the tear item is nice to have, and since its also AH and 110 - 150 AP its pretty much always a safe scaling first item.
