This is an awesome build for veigar, and imo the recommended items and order are better than the top rated guide for veig. DFG rush makes his nuke strong early and leads to him getting fed. +1 from me :)

Thank you very much, I appreciate it. For me, I prefer leveling up Baleful Strike to level 3 and then leaving it there until the last two levels because it reliably kills creeps at half health or more, depending on your AP. I'd take the team usefulness of an extra second long stun from Event Horizon so that I can get away or just keep down the heavy enemy damage dealers. Or Irelia. :D

Great job on the guide, very well laid-out.

I don't agree with maxing Baleful Strike last because it's extremely useful as reliable damage early on before Event Horizon has been leveled, but I can see how it would work.

Thanks for the guide. I've poked around with Veigar some, but always felt that my damage output was not what it should be. Looking forward to giving this build a try. I think one of the main things that stands out is your detail and explanations of how and why you are selecting your items and such. Will definitely be upvoting.

An earlier Void Staff is always an option, especially if the enemy is stacking magic resist against you. However, if you prefer to rush the Void Staff you might want to consider switching your marks and/or quintessences away from magic penetration to something more useful, such as flat AP or AP per level marks and/or quintessences.

I think u have to get voidstaff earlier. I take it before rabadons and farming more ap with Q.

To all voters: I would very much appreciate it if a comment is left along with your vote, especially if it is a downvote so that I at least know why I am receiving a downvote and what I can do to improve the guide. Thanks!

Side note: I'm in the process of creating a new section on laning opponents that covers just about all the even semi-reasonable opponents you might see in mid lane.
