Hello I'm Ãrchangel and this is going to be my second guide. My first guide was a guide on Volibear and wasn't so in depth as i would have wanted so i deleted it, but when Viktor came out i wanted him to be known as someone everyone wanted to play, and that is what this guide is going to hopefully accomplish. Now if you already play Viktor, you may have had people put you down or even leave games cause you are playing a character they dont agree with, well hopefully after this guide you can make sure they know that Viktor is a force to be reckoned with.

Viktor is a Caster, so unfortunately he is very squishy, and the Runes i take are to make sure that you have that extra umph to take the hits in mid from the opposing champion.

Marks: I take Magic Pen Marks, your a caster not a tank. these are a basic standard on most AP Carries, these are a must have.

Seals: I run Health per level seals, these make me able to take a bit more damage throughout the game and stack nicely with Rylais Crystal Scepter and Rod of Ages.

Mana Regen per level seals in testing with this build will update when i have them fully tested to see if they are a viable addition to Viktor's arsenal. As most might find out when playing with this build you might have some mana problems early and mid game, if you feel you need to test Flat Mana Regen or Mana Regen Per Level and i haven't updated this yet please leave me a comment below to let me know how they worked for you.

Glyphs: I run AP per level Glyphs, giving me an advantage late game.

Flat Cooldown reduction Glyphs will be in testing as well to see if they can help with our long cooldowns and if they can be viable to play on Viktor, again if tested by you please leave a comment below to let me know how they worked for you.

Quints: I run Flat AP Quints, they give me the advantage early game, being able to harass is key with Viktor, No harass means that the other opponent mid is getting all the CS and you need CS for items.

I Run a 21/9/0 Build taking AP and Damage in offense while taking Armor, MR, Health per level and Extra Health in Defense, this gives me extra damage on my Power Transfer and more health to sustain myself in lane.

Ok, Viktor as we know is very tricky when it comes to his items because of one time detail.....His Augment. With this setup you will be running Augment of Power, but when to take it is very crucial in that it will decide whether you survive or die. Although the choice is yours when taking an items, i do suggest that you take Augment of power After you get your Boots of Speed, this will give you the advantage over your opponent in health and speed. Also, Power Transfer is a great Last hit on creeps. For the basics this setup will run you with high health while still having some AP making you a very durable AP Carry or Tanky Caster.

The way i run my skills if putting my harass first with my poke second and my cc last. so I start with Power Transfer and make sure to max it by LvL 9. Death Ray is Next and i max that by LvL 13, taking one point in Gravity Field at LvL 5 and maxing it last.

Casting Order:
Gravity Field
Chaos Storm
Death Ray
Power Transfer

This give me a Stun while i cast Chaos Storm and Death Ray, when they start to run Make sure your Chaos storm is targeting them to Auto Follow, Throw a Power Transfer to give you the speed boost you need to stay in range of your auto attacks to wait for your skills to come of cooldown.

Make sure not to use Gravity Field at the wrong time, if you waste it and a jungler comes after you you better Power Transfer something and RUN!!! also Gravity Field can be used as an Initiator when you are in mid and late game, if you dont feel like you should initiate make sure to cast it when they are in a group so you can get the most stuns. In my opinion this is kinda like Amumu's Ult but you have it more often with a smaller range make good use of it.

I run with Flash and Ignite, This gives me a get away tool from a Jungler or a Close call with that fed Champion and a way to finish of that Ryze that is just bothering the **** out of you and you just want him to die.

You are welcome to try any other summoner spells that you wish, these work for me but may not for you, so again if you wish to experiment and would like to share with me let me know in the comments below.
