Introduction

Hello everyone this is Strider's guide for jungling Warwick. This build focuses on providing the team with a semi tank that can kill a squishy target or drop a tanks health to 1/4 really fast.

Pros / Cons

Pros : great damage output without much investing on damage
great ganker because of his ultimate
really hard to kill 1v1 thanks to his passive ( unkilable in toe to toe battle)
great jungler

Cons : Needs blue buff early to get his game going
Team dependant for ganking
Can be countered easily in jungle

Runes

The runes you can use are really up to you as long as you get armor pen and some durability ( dodge , health , mag resist or armor ). My personal favorites are armor pen marks and quints dodge seals and mag resist glyphs . Cooldown reduction per level glyphs are viable too but i don't think they are the best choice.

Masteries

In masteries we are building a 21/9/0 tree that focuses on getting armor pen , smite buff ofc , and extra damage. In defense we get extra armor and dodge. Building a 21/0/9 tree is good too for the extra exp and the time spent dead reduction but i prefer the extra survivability the 21/9 build provides us with.

Summoner Spells

The summoners spells i am using most of the times are smite and exhaust for chasing and killing enemy caries while taking the least possible damage. You can use flash as an escaping tool since you don't have any .

Item Justification

Madred's Bloodrazor : Turns you from a little harmless puppy to a bloodthirsty killing machine. Every warwick buys it and so will you .

Bloodthirster : Extra damage and extra lifesteal . Whats not to like ?

Berseker greaves : Extra attack speed is always welcome on warwick .

Sunfire cape : Extra armor and health for survivability and a great passive

Force of nature : Magic resist , movement speed and extra health regen . After getting this one you will be almost unkillable.

Banshees veil : More Magic resist and a priceless passive

Other usefull Items

Spirit visage : This is a really good item for your tanking ability because you will regenerate even more health thanks to your passive , hungering strike and your lifesteal .

Frozen mallet : this item provides you with extra health, a great passive for chasing down enemies and some extra damage.

Guardian angel : By the time you buy this one you should be really hard to kill. Even harder to get killed again!

If you build anyone of these items i strongly recommend to build it instead of bloodthirster cause you still got nice damage thanks to your Madred's bloodrazor

Jungling

Jungling with warwick is easy as long as you don't get ganked and you use your potions wisely.
Start by picking a cloth armorand 5 hp pots
and head for the bleu buff. If you are lvl 30 and you use the setup i am using in this build you will be able to take it out easily . Use a hp pot after you killed it and head for the pack of wolves close to the blue buff. After you killed them use another pot. You should be lvl 2 by now (or maybe 3 if you use the 21/0/9 mastery build) . Head for the 4 wraiths next to mid lane and kill them. The 2 golems next to the bot lane are next. After all that killing you either head back if you have 920 gold and get bersekers greaves or go grab the red buff since smite should be available. After this keep killing all the monsters in the jungle you can find till you are lvl 6. Once you are 6 try to gank in a lane using you ultimate and possibly getting some gold for a kill or assist. When you get your madreds razors head for the dragon. Keep in mind that you should grab blue and red buffs whenever possible.

Team Work

Your role in the team is to pick a specific target ( most of the times a squishy carry like veigar or le blanc ) and cut him down ***ap when a teamfight starts . After you have done this you should protect your team's carries and auto attack your teams focus. You should never initiate a fight before you get some of your tank items ( at least the sunfire cape). Try to always hit someone because you will be tougher to kill thanks to your passive and lifesteal. After the fight you should chase down any survivors easily thanks to the extra move speed provided by your Blood scent .
