Threats & Synergies
Caitlyn
Personally this all depends on the Caitlyn's Support. Usually against an Ardent Support (Janna, Raka etc.) it's pretty simple, just play safe and poke hard when shield/heal is used or when getting a gank.
Ashe
Ashe is very easy to beat, just avoid going in for poke when she has Volley up. Post 6 be careful overextending too much and make sure you know her ult will come if you try to fight.
Alistar
Alistar is quite the threat, he does not let you cs or poke without being punished. If you see that he used his WQ combo and maybe even the stun auto. Take advantage and engage the ADC, otherwise poke him down as safely as possible and avoid fighting unless you get a gank.
Annie
Annie is one of those supports I hate very much unless you shut her down before 6. After 6 make sure the only time you fight is if her stun is on 1 or less stacks.Try to poke her when she doesn't have stun up and keep bush warded because she will most likely dance in and out of it to poke you with Q/W.
Bard
Ok so for bard it is VERY easy to win. Dodge the Q and if you can go for an engage, especially if he is not near river walls for Magical Journey.
Blitzcrank
Blitz is God tier right now and with good reason. Don't let that bring you down, it is fairly easy to win against him, dodge the pull and don't get too close for a knock up and you should be good. Always try to poke him when he goes for a knock up or pull before ADC if you can dodge the pull or are behind minions.
Brand
This guy is almost as bad as Annie but is somewhat better to face. With this guy you HAVE TO play safe or aggressive, no in between. When he goes in for his annoying AOE, try to blood rush and run in the same direction you're going and you will dodge it. DO NOT auto right in front of him or he will throw the AOE to your axe landing location.
Braum
This guy is pretty annoying but not too bad to face. When fighting against a braum you want to make sure you dodge Q as much as possible cause it slows A LOT. Make sure you don't get too close when poking him and don't bother when he has his shield up unless you're fighting to kill him/ADC.
Corki
Corki isn't played much at ADC right now but if you face him you just need to farm by walking back when last hitting so he doesn't Q your axe landing location.
Draven
For you blind pick playing kids. Just poke more and don't get poked.
Ezreal
Ezreal isn't as hard as people make it seem, all you gotta do is avoid the Q damage. VERY IMPORTANT: When you see an ezreal E into a fight and you are confident in winning or you will die anyway, FOCUS HIM. Unless he has flash he has no escape, enjoy the free gold.
Janna
A lot of people struggle against Janna, but you're playing Draven so you shouldn't worry. Whenever she shields her ADC avoid trading poke unless they are farming/running away. Bait her shield by using Blood Rush and Autoing or even just Blood Rushing sometimes. Killing her early is very easy, she has no HP level 1.
Jhin
Jhin isn't too difficult to face so long as it is done patiently. He will only ever poke or engage when the support joins him. Anytime you see him go for poke alone you can almost always get an extra auto attack in before leaving with Blood Rush. Avoid his root after he Ws and you can get an extra auto if you're close enough since it's quite a long animation.
Jinx
The same as Caitlyn, it all depends on who is her support. If she has a CC support then you might be screwed and have to play safe. If it is an Ardent Support you will have the advantage so long as you poke when she goes for CS or when she goes for a missed W.
Kalista
Kalista is a tricky champion to face sometimes. If she has a good CC support (Alistar, Leona, Thresh etc.) she will be very annoying when she has level 6. Before 6 play patiently and trade as much as you can before her support comes to help. ALWAYS: if you see her use her Rend and she doesn't kill any minions or any units, go in on her ASAP with your support, she will be lacking her main source of damage as Kalista players always max E first.
Karma
Not difficult if you can dodge her Qs and avoid getting caught by her Root. Go for trades when she uses Ult and an ability at any given moment.
Kog'Maw
A lot of people underestimate Kog's damage after he gets Rageblade, you shouldn't even if you win lane with a kill or two. He scales really well because of Q and W combo and will shred you to pieces. If you can, poke him as much as possible and go for a fight. Careful for his afterlife explosion.
Leona
THIS CHAMPION. I have never hated a champion while playing Draven as much as I hate Leona. To win against her you need to be aggressive pre 6, she will try to Zenith blade and that will be all you need to dodge. Don't get too close for her Q stun and you should be ok if you poke her down as she misses Zenith. After she is level 6 I recommend keeping your distance and dodging Zenith blade and freezing lane on your side until you get a gank.
Lucian
Lucian is fairly easy to beat, just avoid lining up with minions to him so you don't get poked by Q. If he dashes into you remember he has no escape other than flash. When he uses his Ult do not follow it with him, it is sometimes better to get close and away from the ult than farther and along the ult.
Lulu
Lulu is the only Ardent support that I do not like facing at all because of the simple fact that she does a lot to keep her ADC alive without being able to do anything about it except well KILLING her. When going in for trades try to keep it quick because more than one auto and you might find yourself Polymorphed and Q slowed to all hell, which usually turns into a kill for their ADC. Keep in mind after 6 her ultimate will save the ADC or her life, I recommend that you get her to use her ult and go for the other person assuming you were poking both of them down during laning phase.
Lux
Lux is more similar to Brand than Annie. She has a root that can be easily avoided if you keep a distance and her E isn't difficult to avoid if you Blood Rush into a different direction. When poking it doesn't matter so long as you try not to get rooted or E poked/slowed.
Miss Fortune
MF is annoying and good to face at the same time. Her E and Comet combo is very annoying since it is instant and you almost always get caught in it when you are catching an axe but if you see her do this and don't get caught in it, go for some trades. In post level 6 fights save your E for when she uses Ultimate to cancel it. IMPORTANT: Do not stand behind almost dead minions when farming, she will most likely try to line up her Q for it to kill, bounce, crit on you for Half or even 3/4 health chunks.
Morgana
Not that big of a threat, just avoid her Q snare and try to save E for when she uses her Shield and it finishes. Check her items for Zhonyas, if she doesn't have it then when she ults try to poke her and stay as far away from her as possible. If she does have it then try to just stay as far away as possible and don't go for a kill while her ult is on you or you will get stunned cause of Zhonyas.
Nami
Very simple to beat, avoid her Q at all costs and when you see her put her E on the ADC you should wait until the 3 empowered autos are used then poke. If she ults try your best to either outrun it or dodge it. Focus the ADC in trades once her Q and E are used up.
Quinn
Simple, you out damage her a lot, avoid Q so you can do more damage to her in trades. Let her jump off you so you can get an extra auto or two off.
Rakan
He is pretty easy to beat before 6. Just keep Blood Rush handy for when he tries to knock up or use E for cool points :). After level 6 you DO NOT want to get charmed unless you are confident you will win, try to avoid it at all costs and keep your distance and poke.
Sivir
Hands down the easiest ADC to face as Draven. The only thing to worry about here is the spell shield when you go for an E. Dodge Qs and you will be fine.
Sona
Most likely the easiest support to face, pre 6 it is a cake walk for you to stomp her. She has no HP and weak sustain. The best part is she will always go in for pokes with Q unless she is smart. Throw an auto or two when she goes in to poke with Q and you will be able to engage at some point. After 6 just make sure you aren't the one being engaged with her Ult first, try to poke her with two autos or so if she is the one starting the fight before ADC and you will most likely win the fight. If the ADC is going in first poke the ADC with a couple autos before she ults but in either situation if you can DODGE THE ULT.
Soraka
Pretty simple but annoying, Dodge her Q when she pokes as you catch axes using Blood Rush. If you can, as you dodge her poke with Blood Rush go for an auto on her and then run away, eventually she will be too low to heal ADC comfortably and you can poke the ADC. ALWAYS: Build an executioners after BF Sword and boots when facing her.
Taric
Taric isn't too bad in lane pre 6 or post 6. Pre level 6 you should try and poke him while he goes to stun you. He will need to run back if he missed and you can get a lot of autos off to win the trade. After level 6 you do not want to go deep into a fight unless you know for certain you will win after the invincibility is up. You usually do not want to fight when he begins with that until it comes off the ADC and him.
Tristana
Trist isn't too hard to face until she has items on you, the good part about her is she will always be shoving lane to your side because of her passive on E. When she puts her E on you, do not let her get more than one auto off on you when trading pokes. If she does she might Rocket Jump and finish the bomb off and Rocket Jump out and you will be chunked. If you see her E the turret or other minions then engage on her expecting her to Rocket Jump away. You can use your E to cancel her Jump but it needs to be thrown about 0.5 seconds before she uses it.
Twitch
Very strong in lane. To win against Twitch you must play patiently and avoid having him put his poison gas behind you blocking your path back to turret. Watch out for his sneaky Qs and make sure to have the lane warded so you know whether or not he recalled in bush or just walked in to Q and engage. When poking make sure it is after you avoided his poison gas.
Varus
Only issue with Varus you will see is his E. When he uses his AOE slow it will also apply Grievous Wounds for as long as you are in it, making your sustain in fights terrible. After level 6 make sure you are not caught in his E when he ults or you will be rooted with no lifesteal and he will chunk you down easily.
Vayne
Very easy matchup, just make sure you don't put yourself in between a wall and Vayne in fights and poke just enough that she only gets one full cycle of her true damage or you will most likely die.
Xayah
Xayah does a good amount of things to stop you from succeeding in lane. When she Qs there isn't much to be worried about unless she has E off cooldown, just make sure there you aren't between 3 feathers and her at all costs. If she is matched up with Rakan avoid fighting when she activates W since both her and Rakan get the empowered autos. When she ults make sure you aren't going straight for her unless you can manage to get around 3 of the feathers she throws and not get rooted. Poke whenever you can since it takes a while for her 2 feathers from Q to land to get her auto and E off to root.
Zilean
Zilean is fairly simple to beat since he is probrably the lowest HP support at level 1. When fighting him I almost always rush level 2 and hope he over extends for the quick kill on him. He will usually try to slow you to land his 2 bombs since Blood Rush is going to be your best option in dodging them from outside of his slow range. If you're going to fight after level 6, I recommend going for the ADC first so you can burn his ult and easily go for him and kill him and the ADC after the Res.
Zoe
She is annoying, just dodge her Sleep and you will win lane easily. She will have no escape ever unless her ADC lets her kill minions with the balloons for spells. When fighting I suggest dodging her sleep and going for the ADC first since she can't do much after she misses it.
Zyra
Zyra is a little bit dangerous but also very underplayed. I would only worry about being too close to her seeds when she places them or uses her abilities on the naturally spawned ones. The best way of beating her is to not poke unless she has no root or damage spells up. You will need to dodge root, poke and prepare Blood Rush to avoid the damaging spell. When going for all ins make sure all she lands is the damaging ability and not her root and/or ult.
