LoL Summoner Spell: Exhaust

Exhaust

Introduction

Hi everyone and welcome to my Taric Guide. He's my favourite support as he can play passively(By maxing your heal 1st) or aggressively(by maxing your W) .Dont be mad at me if you are Soraka or Sona player :P.But he heals, gives armor, provides AD to team and lets not say that he has pretty nice CC with his Dazzle.

Pros / Cons

Pros
-can be played passively or aggressively
-nice stun (1.5 seconds)
-givea an armor and AD aura to all your allies
-his heal heals both you and the target
-his W and his ultimate goes really well with his stun
-Tanky
Cons
-melee
-falls off late game unlike Alistar, Sona, Soraka and Janna
-Mana hungry if you go aggressively too often
-His stun has a slow animation
-long cooldowns

Runes

Since you are a support, you should run defensive and utility runes.
you can swap your quints for movement speed quints to stun easily
if you want to play passively, you can go Gold/10 yellows
Back to Top

Masteries

there are many mastery setups for taric
you can go:
1/9/20 taking improved exhaust
0/21/9 for more tankiness(really good against alistar and leona)
0/9/21 for a passive lane
you can get the extra movement speed or mana regen, in your utility tree, based on your needs
Back to Top

Summoner Spells

After the CV nerf, supports usually take flash and exhaust(with ad carry taking heal)
you can take heal to replace flash if you want to.

SUPPORTING??

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS GETTING WARDS
They can cost you the game
Map awareness is FKN IMPORTANT
as a support u should be getting 3-4 wards everytime you go back(maybe a pink ward for drag( get after 10mins) or baron (get pink for that around 20-25mins)
REMEMBER- never ever last hit( unless your ad carry is at base) otherwise your carry will be underfarmed.

Laning phase

Taric has a wonderful laning face with his Dazzle and his W( as it gives armor to allies and can be used as damage). you should always go aggressive everytime your cooldowns are up. He also has a heal that heals yourself and the target. You should be healing whenever you or teammate is low hp. If you have pushed your lane, you should have warded to prevent getting ganked
Back to Top

Mid game

You should be WARDING and buying your aura items
you should have your PHILO(starting to build into shurelia's reverie), HOG and Aegis
Back to Top

LATE GAME

WARD! WARD! WARD!
WARDS ARE SO USEFUL AND IMPORTANT
IN EVERY TEAM FIGHT YOU SHOULD BE TRYING TO CATCH SOMEONE OUTER POSITION WITH YOUR STUN
as soon as yo stun the enemy go to the enemy and use your W and ultimate
after that, you should be in the back, and team fight should be started. from there you should be healing and protecting your carries. AND DON'T FORGET try to use your EXHAUST on enemy AD CARRY in every teamfight
Back to Top

GOOD LANE PARTNERS

CORKI
basically everytime you stun, he just lands an AA followed by his Q
GRAVES
same as corki you stun and let your ad harass
SIVIR
after the nerf, she isnt as good as she was.
you basically do the same as corki and graves
TRISTANA
This champion is only good early on and late game as she is very item dependent
make sure to take advantage of tristanas early game . she will land an AA then E and AA again for lane dominance.
VAYNE
try to stun when enemy is close to a wall
DOUBLESTUN = GG NOOBS

Worst ADs to meet

CAITLYN
F**K HER LONG RANGE
IMPOSSIBRUUU TO LAND A STUN
MISS FORTUNE
you can be useful when she doesnt have her passive up but then otherwise don't bother trying
SIVIR
SPELL SHIELD OP

WORST SUPPORTS TO BE AGAINST

ALISTAR
when you go aggresive
BAMMM headbut you away. VERY ANNOYING
BLITZ
AS YOU STUN AND GET UP CLOSE TO POP YOUR W he just powerfist up yo arse
Back to Top

ITEMS

As you are not farming since your carry will you will need your Philo and HOG as it gives you gold per 10
aura items benefit you well as it helps your team
AEGIS OF LEGION
SHURELIAS REVERIE(Use active for engage or escaping)
LOCKET OF IRON SOLARI
ORACLES are important on every support
never finish your last slot, save it as wards. nothing else
SITUATIONAL ITEMS
Zeke's Herald - gives yoru team extra lifesteal and attack speed( good with kog'maw)
Randuin's Omen - could replace locket or iron solari if you are tanking alot (don't forget the active)
Frozen Heart - slows enemies attack speed and movement speed. also makes you duarable
Abyssal Sceptor - only get if your team has a double AP comp
BOOTS - usually you want boots of mobility to land your stun, but if you are getting ********ed, get mercury treads if a lot of cc or ninja tabi for countering AD
