Hungering strike.

Hungering strike is Warwick's only ability dealing flat magic damage ( Being damage not affected by attack damage items and so on.) 75 / 125 / 175 / 225 / 275 (+1 per ability power), or 8 / 11 / 14 / 17 / 20 % of a target's HP. Being as the regular build with Warwick (Attack speed & Attack damage) does not affect the ability power but the percentual part of the skill it is often not that effective and often ends up under the carpet.

THIS BUILD BRINGS IT OUT FROM DOWN UNDER.

With this build you're AP damage will overwhelm the percentual part of the skill and Hungering Strike will be charged with a +1 dmg per ability power. Ending up with around 650-750 in damage just by using a simple quick recharged spell.

Introduction

This is an AP build with Warwick, I want everyone to be aware of me building like this for a reason before throwing out random comments in the comment section!

Warwick is a really, amazing hero as you can choose however you wanna play him. Warwick can fill up the role of, tank, AD dps and surprisingly AP dps. This build relies ALOT on Warwicks Q ability.

This is some stats i went down with on a recent game.

I will not go down with any kind of playing style, in this build i will just briefly explain how play powerfully with this build, i will NOT go into any advanced playstyle. There is allready an WW ap build guide for that. ( http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/nuclear-bomb-magewick-redux-5444#chapter1 )

Generally playing and teamworking with AP ww.

The major downside with this AP build is Warwick in teamfights. Warwick has to target players one by one and nuke them down with his Q ability. Being the only ability growing stronger by this build of choice.

You will not for example be able to initate a teamfight with your ulti, this not being a tank build but more a mage build. That does NOT mean you should be afraid, the rather opposite actually. For this build to work, a lot is needed you're courage is one of those things. Don't be a chicken, do daring steps. Just don't risk your life too much, you're easily nuked.

You can jungle with the build, just be careful not doing it too early. You will need your AP to nuke down most of the jungle.

Items.

I start out with the Doran's Ring for 475 G, this gives you 100+ health so you can do those "Daring steps", this gives you +15 AP witch increases your harassing dmg with your Q spell and it gives you 5+ mana per 5sec to allow you to keep on harassing early game.

When i get exactly 995 g by lasthitting with my Q spell i go back and get the Tear of the Godess. You Need this item early game, this item has a passive ability increasing mana every ability you use, so be sure to get it as early as you can!

I go back to laning, and maybe get some jungling done on my way to the lane, I last hit my way up to some regular boots if im in a hurry to help another lane, or if everything is cool i buy the whole kit for Sorcerer's Shoes. This gives you speed and allows your Q spell to hit trough magic defense items.

Okay so this is where the hardfarm starts, i usually jungle and run from lane to lane at this point. Get Spirit Visage for the extra ability passives and the hp. Now you have absolutely no problem jungling if you felt that you had it before.

Get yourself a Rabadons Deathcap in the midlate game and use it to boost your Q ability to nuke yourself to 860, then buy Blasting Wand and the whole Archangel's Staff Recipe if you can with help from the Tear of the Godess you bought before, that shouldn't be too hard.

NOW IT IS TIME TO SELL DORAN'S RING. If you did not do this earlier. Do it NOW. Cause now it is time for your last item. I prefer another Rabadons Deathcap for the increased AP but people often tell me "You need hp items, Warwick gets to squishy this way, in my opinion you have to have skill to play this build, it's not allways a walk on sunshine. But if you want more hp, buy a Warmog's Armor. :)

Pros/Cons

+ This is a very fun build to play with.
+ You can put down high nukes and be more efficient then Veigar in midlate game
+ People will underestimate you and do dumb moves they will regret.
+ Your belly will be filled with enemy deliciousness.

- You are easily killed.
