Pros:
Spammy.
Pretty easy to use.
Kills squishies damn near instantly.
Ultimate takes you out of combat if you get targeted, and you heal from it.
Hard to tower dive.
Cons:
Semi-squishy early.
Requires loads of farm, or to get fed.
Not the best solo top.
Takes practice to get used to.
CANNOT GET KILLS EARLY WITHOUT GANKS.

Blade Waltz > Burst of Speed > Riposte > Lunge

Play safe, and farm early game. I prioritize last hitting over harassing the enemy. I usually completely ignore them until they come up to me and try to harass me, and when they swing, I activate riposte, and hit them back once or twice, and go back to farming.

Don't chase someone to harrass them, not only will you miss farm, but you open yourself up to ganks. Also, you will probably gain minion aggro, and be chunked to half hp..If they come in range, by all means smack them once or twice, but it's not worth it to get harass and miss farm.

Make sure you don't push your lane, just last hit, otherwise you will get ganked. Once you get your wriggles, you can push safer. Make sure you put it near baron, but slightly closer to your lane. Don't ever put it in the brush, especially if you're going to push. You won't see the gank coming untill they're already there. If you don't feel safe running all the way down there, you can go back to your tower, and walk around and ward over the wall.


Make sure every time you back, you buy pots, and a ward untill you get yourself a wriggle's lantern. Once you get a wriggles, you should have enough sustain on you, and a free ward, so you'll be fine. If you want to play safe, then of course you could always buy another and put it in the tribush, when pushing hard. I would advise against doing that, considering how squishy you will be early, and if you get caught off guard, you might die. The only time you SHOULD be pushing is if you killed their top, or they backed. Otherwise, you want to just last hit so you can get ganks.

The only other spell I could possibly think that would be useful for solo top leona is ghost, or teleport. If you prefer them over flash/exhaust, get them. Teleport can be a lifesaver when pushing top hard. You can just teleport back to your base. Also sets you up for good ganks bottom.

Only downside to teleport is, you're more susceptible to getting tower dived. Especially if you're low. Most people will NOT dive a champ with a speed buff, 2 lunges, a ult that takes them out of combat, and exhaust, AND FLASH. That's asking to die. If you take teleport and they mess up, they can just run out of tower range. If you have exhaust, that's pretty much a guaranteed kill.

A lot of people will probably disagree with the starting item I choose, Brawler's Gloves & Pots, and would buy a dorans blade. If you think a dorans blade would better suit you, fine.

I choose the Brawler's Gloves for crits, and for a faster Avarice. Like I said, Fiora isn't the best solo top, and any mistakes will most likely be punished. Once you get your wriggles, you won't have to worry as much, but for now any lucky crits are welcome. Plus, potions means if you make a mistake, you won't have to back as soon.

Do not initiate first. You are not a tank.

Target AD/AP carries first.

Try to save your ult, but don't wait till everyone on your team is dead. If they're not targeting you, you should probably use your ult to get some extra damage out on everyone.

ALWAYS ACTIVATE YOUMUU DURING TEAMFIGHTS.

Never chase for kills if your teammates are being killed. Come back and help them.
