you should update your guide... instead of taking Ravenous Hydra, you take Titanic Hydra :)

- health regen quints are much less cost effective than other defensive quints / offensive quints and aren't necessary on a top laner. if you're already attempting to concede lane w/ regen quints then you might as well take tp / smite with other quints where you can farm jungle camps

- You should emphasize maxing E as an alternative to ranged champs or champs with more zoning presence against shyv because it's a much more consistent damage / poke source

- tabi is very cost effective as an eco armor item. it's much better than merc early on if both top laners are set heavily behind

- thornmail isn't niche it's almost a core tank item on most tanks now

- wits and frozen mallet are horrible, no reason to get GA or banshee on shyv

- sunfire is a great item when against low damage AP champs as well as it helps you shove lane and create more pressure.

- Shyv isn't considered a top tier top laner now. she's only decent. might want to fix those exaggerations.

- top is a very mechanical role -_-


those are the basic issues i have with this guide in terms of gameplay.

you could also add more details about lane such as TP usage and minion wave control and how shyv's kit functions with that.

for design you could add more formatting to your paragraphs which look like walls of text

Season 5 Rerelease after taking a long break from league and playing a bunch of shyvana again. Let me know if anything seems outdated or out of place because I might have missed something. :)

If you play against Teemo start with a sword + 3 pots then rush mercurys boots and spectres cowl. I've won 80% of this matchup against Teemo (with Shyvanna).

Early you will lose the trades but I still trade with teemo. If E is a hit, activate W and Q and hit him, then get back directly. After finishing the boots you have almost even trades and with spectres cowl you will win the trades.

Just stand behind minions and wait for some farm under your tower isn't good and you have no chance due the huge farm difference. You need to trade, even if you will lose the first few trades.

Once mercurys boots and spectres cowl are finish I go all in, hit E, engage with W + Q, hit him and then activate your ultimate and directly ignite him. Teemo should be almost dead after this combo. I never use my ultimate until I go for a all-in, most of the time teemos dont expect the huge damage. If I get ganked I use it to escape, but never against him until the all-in engage.

And sure, dont follow teemo into bushes or unlogic directions he tries to escape to. With teemo as lane opponent I've figured out (for me) that AD runes (with MR, no AR) and 21/9/0 is the best against him.

I am very sure the creator of this guide has more knowledge than me, but try it, it's a easy opponent when you play right. I dont think he is a nightmare and I've won games against him before I've read the matchup-list or looked if he counters me. I would rate him 6/10 to maximum 8/10.

I still remember the first round with shyvanna against him. I've tried to attack him and lost very much life and ended up stay behind and get some farm in my tower or close before the tower so he doesn't play to much aggressive. That was completely wrong. I've figured out that you must be the more aggressive. But be ready to lose the very early trades.

Also, this doesn't works against every player, but the most. Won a 1v1 (me shyvanna he teemo) against a friend, won the second. Then he knew how I play, combo and engage and I've lost the 3rd and 4th 1v1. He has almost the same skill level than me and played teemo much on s3. It depends on how much teemo knows the most dangerous playstyle against him with shyvanna.

I actually like the 0/17/13 setup, because you only lose a bit of armor, MR, and tenacity but you gain a lot of sustain, a little MS, and summoner spell CD. It actually is a good setup to consider against low CC jungler/laner combos. It might work well in a 2v1 lane or 2v0 (i.e. you're stuck in the jungle) setup.

Really good guide! I was really bad with Shyvanna until i found this guide. I didn't play with her on top but that's a good way to play her in jungle too! Definitely an upvote by my site! :)
