Introduction

Wukong is a melee DPS champion. He is my favorite champion and the most fun to play with. He is also one of the most OP champions in the game. The most interesting things about him is His Crushing blow and Cyclone. They deal 120% of your ad and late game your ultimate can be a game changer. I think that makes him the best DPS in the entire game.

Runes

I go with armor penetration marks and quintessences. Armor seals, and CD glyphs. These should give you great lane survivability against a DPS Champ.

You can use magic resist if you want but i prefer Armor

Masteries

Not much to be said about the masteries change them if you want...I went for mostly all AD masteries.

Items

Now the items. I go pure AD besides the frozen mallet. I start with a Dorans Blade. Its a great starting item and you get health, AD, and lifesteal. My next items are boots of speed to build towards my beserker greaves. Then I get The brutalizer for the AD, Cooldowns, and Armor Pen . Then I pick up Beserker Greaves. After that I get my B.F. Sword for tons of damage and a zeal for the attack speed. Then my bloodthirster for lifesteal and 100 DMG after I farm minions. Then I finish my phantom dancer. By this point you should be fed and destroying everyone. Start building your frozen mallet by getting phage then giants belt so you wont be squishy. If the game is still going get another B.F. sword the Infinity Edge. For your last items get another B.F. sword then black cleaver.

Skill Sequence

I max Nimbus strike first then crushing blow. you can max either one first it doesn't really matter. Get your ultimate at 6,11, and 16 and max Decoy last.

Remember! Crushing blow and Your Ultimate does 120% Of your AD. THAT'S THE BEAUTY OF WUKONG!

Summoner Spells

I take exhaust and flash. you can also take ghost or ignite. I prefer Exhaust so i can win 1v1s and prevent enemies from escaping. I like flash to chase someone down or escape.

USE FLASH ITS A MUST- You can use flash to set up a good ultimate.

Team Work

Wukong is a amazing team fighter. he can drop a Carry with a Q and E and can drop a whole Team with his R. initiate with decoy then Q and E. If you need to then ult. ULT IF YOU ARE GONNA TEAM FIGHT.

Unique Skills

hiding in a bush Basic Combo- W-Q-E
Basic combo if you are seen- Q-E-Q-W
Ultimate Combo- W-Q-E-R-E

Farming/Laning

Wukong is a amazing farmer. His E can hit 3 enemies and his Abilities are very low cost. Last hit multiple minions with Nimbus Strike. Last hit a single minion with crushing blow. Dont spam them though, you will waste mana that way. Harass with crushing blow then nimbus strike.

Dont Try to 1v1 early game. Wukong is item dependent and can't go HAM usually till you get The Brutalizer.

Alternate Items

Atmas Impaler. This is a great item on Wukong. Pick this up if you want more crtical chance and armor. Only get this if they are AD heavy.

Madreds BloodRazor- I do not suggest this item but it is a great item on Wukong. It gives armor, attack speed, attack damage, and basic attacks deal magic damage equal to 4% of targets maximum health.

Sword Of the Occult- Replace this with The brutalizer if you want. Its a great item if you are fed.

Tiamat- Not worth the gold for the stats but good item for team fights.

Trinity Force- I dont like this item on Wukong because it works well with anyone. Get this if you want a all around good item.

Warmogs- Get this instead of frozen mallet if you want. I do not suggest but it gives you tons of health and HP regen.

Wits End- If you are getting nuked by leblanc and other AP carries go with this. It gives you AS and MR

Wriggles Lantern- A great early game item. Get this for lane sustainability. You Get free wards, lifesteal, armor, and attack damage.

Youmuu's Ghostblade- You can turn your brutalizer into this. I do not suggest doing that but if you want to then DO IT. It gives you critical chance and a useful active, and more armor pen, AD, and CD.

Ranked Wukong

There Has Been no talk of ranked Wukong. Maybe because people do not know how to build him properly. Most builds are offtanks. Wukong is a amazing solo top and laner. I have yet to seen a wukong in ranked... If you are to play Wukong in ranked your best bet is a being a jungler and playing a Lee Sin type of roll.

Wukong Lore/Story

In the Plague Jungles, Kong ruled as king. He could wield a unique, natural form of magic and he was driven by zealous ambition. The Plague Jungles were the ideal setting for fostering his growth - he thrived on challenges and flourished in adversity. However, when he had surmounted every obstacle and defeated every opponent, he grew restless. Worried that there was nothing left to overcome, he sought counsel with the monkey sage who lived behind the Grand Waterfall. The sage told him a tale of hairless monkeys to the north who, with wits and strength, bent the world to their will. Kong was overjoyed at the prospect of such worthy competition, and he immediately set out to the north, hoping that the sage's story was true.

Traveling north, he crossed the Southern Wastes and then the Great Barrier. Unaware of the League, he arrived outside the Institute of War where he found Master Yi in meditation. Kong was eager to test the strength of these northern warriors, so he challenged Yi to a duel. Intrigued by Kong, Yi decided to humor him. Within moments of his first strike, Kong knew he was no match for Yi. To be the best, he would need a mentor. He asked Yi to take him as a pupil and to show him the wonders of the northern lands. In return, he would honor Yi by becoming the greatest warrior Runeterra had ever seen. Admiring his passion, Yi agreed, but only under the condition that Kong would one day teach the lessons of Wuju to a pupil of his own. In the spirit of this agreement, he renamed Kong ''Wukong'', and gave him a weapon suited to his unusual nature - an enchanted staff that the young Doran had crafted. The weapon was an unrivalled masterpiece. After rigorous training, Wukong joined the League of Legends to fulfill his promise and show the world the true power of Wuju.
