Hello :) My names Meatball and this is actually my very first guide, so go easy on me :P I really hope that you enjoy this guide, and that you get to rip some peoples faces off like I have.

Pros

• Great Damage/AoE
• Asset to team fights

• Best /Taunt and /Joke EVER

Cons

• Squishy
• Bad skins (being fixed soon)
• Flame bait

What I get:
Flash Mainly because Xerath has no escape skills. If you find yourself in a bad situation from over extending (dont do that :P) or getting ganked, it'll come in handy to have this ready to get the f out.
Teleport Getting there for the clutch is what Xerath is all about. If you can teleport on to a minion right outside of a team fight and come in with your ultimate, you'll absolutely wreck everyone.

Other good options:

Ghost Always a good choice for any champion. If you find yourself in a bad situation, just pop this on and get out.
Cleanse Not many people recommend this skill, but it's great cause it clears all CC effects placed on you, allowing you to get out of sticky situations.
Ignite Ignite isn't an amazing choice for Xerath mainly because of his range, but it definitely comes in handy for that last little bit of damage.
Exhaust You already have a stun and a good bit of burst, so exhaust isnt necessary, but its great to have to use against fast champions like Master Yi
