I've been using this build on Xin (mainly jungle but also top, I'm sure mid would work too). Getting sated devourer plus all this ap makes your lifesteal(heal) insane. I usually only go for the rageblade and gunblade, then build tanky. You will have amazing damage even with just those two items and you can solo just about anyone but Jax (because he can dodge your attacks). I have yet to do poorly with this build, but that doesn't mean I've been winning every game. You're pretty easily shut down with CC when playing like this because you need your heal to go off.

I can see have good sustain and bortk would work on a xin Zhao that didn't have zhonya xD and your boots would keep them from escaping but it would come down to a battle of who will burst the fastest after you burnt your bortk from zhonya another xin could simply r you away even and re engage though your rageblade will go hand in hand with your ap scaling and attack speed you wont have decent burst on a champ with some mr and armor mix and if the champ were to have sustain and a higher burst you would be in serious trouble
