Fair enough, and no worries, I take this criticism very well, in fact its helping my game, so thank you for that. I'll update this build very soon Jet! :)

If you feel that you DO need to start with a doran's, the shield is much more better. Gangplank has weak hits early on, the lifesteal isn't going to contribute much to your lane presence. If you're playing agressive, the shield would be better aswell since you want to migitate damage done to you while you harm them with your DoT.

As for stacking infinity edge, 4k gold for 20 crit and 75 damage is a waste after your first one. It'd make more sense to take a(nother) phantom dancer, for the attack speed and movement speed which is crucial for TT, or if you REALLY need that extra damage and crit, Atma's impaler.

There's nothing wrong with the one avarice since you have Youmuu's in your build, but the second one isn't going to help you. instead of getting a second avarice, you could get something like a pickaxe, that way you have a nice damage boost and critical chance boost which helps your aggressive play style.

I didn't mean my first comment to come out as harsh as it did, but there is some frustration going on when you see people playing one of your main champions in a suboptimal manner.

Fair play to you Jet, and thank you for the criticisms, however let me explain some more of the build.

"2) Doran's Blade starting, then two avarice blades first thing? Are you trying to delay yourself? Avarice's don't do anything early game unless you're keeping one for youmuu's."

I guess I should have explain this part a bit clearer. This is simply for the crit and the gold generation which comes with it. I thought it would be helpful to have a small boost, just in case of those who can't farm well.

"5) Stacking Infinity Edge? What?"

More damage, more critical chance. Why not?

But yes, I guess this build needs a lot of work. But thank you for that Jet.

There is a lot in the guide that doesn't make sense.

1) Critical Chance marks / critical chance seals?

2) Doran's Blade starting, then two avarice blades first thing? Are you trying to delay yourself? Avarice's don't do anything early game unless you're keeping one for youmuu's.

3) It's a 3 v 3 build, why are you spending 6k+ gold before you even get your main damage item? You're not going to farm 10000 gold before the 25 minute mark, and that's end game typically for a 3 v 3. You want your damage first so you aren't useless.

4) Which brings me to my next point, Gangplank is an amazing farmer, and the cons you put are only cause you built him the way you did.

5) Stacking Infinity Edge? What?

6) Your masteries: why would you get archmage's savvy and attack speed over armor penetration and 15% magic penetration? You're just gimping yourself even further.

Whoever down-voted is a hater, I think this is a pretty good build.
