like I said, the statikk shiv isn't a bad item i'm just saying that Yasuo cant unitize it until he gets some damage. the other reason is that yasuos 3rd Q poke doesn't apply on hit (this could be a Mac glitch so dont quote me on that) and that is really his harass. the reason its good on critplank is because he has an auto AD that increases his crit damage and has no negation from his passive. when I jungle yasuo I occasionally pick up this item so i can clear an enemies camp quicker and kill him off if he comes around because its close quarters, not the open field of mid lane, and by the time i have that i have another AD item.

yasuos Q is by far the most important part of his damage output but yasuos Q is literally his basic attack with a bonus 100 (level 5). so yes, the more effective your basic attack is the more effective it is

and on the subject of a PD, i dont normally take any item with zeal on yasuo except a triforce. the only reason i said a phantom dancer is because, well they're kissing cousins, they'd be the same item if you reduced the price. but I take neither of them due to the fact my build already, and moving through minions isnt that good. has EXACTLY 100% crit (youmuu's, triforce, and infinity) plus 1.9 attack speed (with out youmuu active) and 32% lifesteal and close to 400 AD. the movement on statikk shiv is kinda useless when you have the tri force which gives you the bonus, plus the phage active.

I don't know, Carconzo. Statikk Shiv is kinda a big deal as it gives more movement, which means more shields. Also, take into consideration that it provides damage that negates armor(which your enemy should be itemizing for), it can crit(I don't have to tell you how much of a bonus it is with Yasuo's passive), dashing should charge it*, it procs off Steel Tempest(You're going to be moving around a lot to position it better so even more charging going on here) and well... duh, it provides 100+ damage just like... say... a Blood Thirster.

One thing you're forgetting, sir, is that Yasuo is a duck and weave champion, and your basic attack should actually be one of your last concerns as Steel Tempest is obviously better. Sure, still use your basic attack, but your Q is far more vital as it gives extra range, damage, and even a knockup.

Statikk Shiv is by far one of the most important items to get on a character such as this. You don't see Critplanks skipping this item, and they don't hugely benefit from the attack speed and crit and movement speed like Yasuo does. The only reason why Phantom Dancer looks better on paper is because more crit(You're going to have too much with it) and it can make you move through minions(you can already do this with dash).

Well, I hope you take what I had to say in and use this wisdom in YOUR guide.

*Dashing may not charge it. I'm not going to be certain until I get off work and double check my own advice, but from what I remember from last night, it looked like it did.

also forgot to mention:
from TROLLing1999
Quoted:
nope

15% crit chance goes lost and the build itself is not significant...much info missing as well

i'm planning to release my guide after 40 games. you need to know the counters, pros/cons, ins and outs of items and what skills synergizes well.

First off, critical runes. bad choice for someone who cant optimize crit until mid game. second off half the guide is taken from wikis. other than that the build is fine except statikk shiv. can't even begin to state how situational that item is. if you are fed early game go for it but once you leave lane it becomes obsolete. you could trade it for a phantom dancer and get better stats but even then it isn't worth it because crit has no value with out damage. lets just imagine you are level 9. you only have around 90 damage. double that isn't very good since you could just head for an early bloodthirster and have more damage 100% each strike plus life steal.(it does cost more so i'll give you that)
on the situational items I don't see zephyr being situational. you either build it or don't. you put down merc treads so you already have tenacity and you have 2 move speed multipliers with attack speed. why would you even need it?
sorry for the wall of text.

As Stated by Seth you should optimize your items runes as to not waste anything. With the crit chance runes at level one the 11% crit chance is pretty powerful, which is why I frequently ignore getting tri force all together. But I also think you should have marks of crit chance and one seal, that way your are wasting even less of a crit chance and getting more damage with less armor.

well you said Static shiv, Infinite Edge, and Tri force..... with 6 marks of crit? that will equal 110% crit so you should
A: Lose Crit marks
B: lose tri force
i say just take 9 ad marks so you dont go over crit no reason

I was just gonna say that if you go 9 marks of ad and 3 quints of greater crit you will get a lil more crit and more ad starting out

I'm glad that you said Trinity Force, because every yasuo player I've seen didn't get trinity, but I did and it helped me way more than the opposing yasuo.

It was funny, I was looking at multiple sources of yasuo including lolpro, of course moba, and wikia. It is extremely strange that your hints are worded exactly the same as wikia, what a coincidence.
