Masteries
Introduction
Master yi is a great champion for new players, he can deal a lot of damage in a short time but hes squishy.
Runes
I take armor pen. marks and quints because they help my mid and late game
Armor seals to help my early game
and Magic resist per level glyphs, because i dont get many defense items
Masteries
I go 21-0-9, taking all the left side on offense and movement speed on utility
Skill Sequence
Pick alpha strike first, it is your gap closer and it helps alot at level 1
after that go E>Q>W, and taking ur ultimate whenever possible.
Summoner Spells
I take ignite to finish off kills and flash to escape, but u can take exhaust or ghost, both are good on yi
