Hey guys this is my first guide on mobafire. This guide is for a jungling Maser yi. My friend. Redridge was actually the one who gave me the base of this guide. However i did modify it. Lets get started. A good yi can rip apart an enemy in seconds. This guide is designed for chasing, and killing fast.

This is just a quick summary of my items you can change them to your liking. Before the last phantom dancer i actually recomend getting a defensive item. If the team is caster heavy i highly recommend getting a banshees veil. If the enemy team is very physical damage heavy a thornmail or frozen heart will work well. Another great item for yi that i didnt put in the items is heart of gold. This is a great item for all junglers. Because it gives them gold while they are ganking. In fact, this is a great item for every champion. It gives health, armor and gold. How much more awesome do you need?

First, start at wraiths alpha strike them. Next move to wolves then double golem. If you see a gank availible go for it. If not recall and buy an avarice blade. You should have just enough. Then wait to get a pot. If you had a succesful gank you can either get a longsword or vampiric scepter. I normally get a vampiric scepter if the other team is confident and thinks that if you gank they can kill you. A long sword is helpful if the second they see you they run away. After you recall and buy your item, you should go get red buff. If you have enough health then go to blue. If not just gank. After getting both buffs and ganking you can try to join in your solo lane or just fill in for them while they go back. This should give you enough money to get your ghostblade and boots. Once you have ghostblade and level 6, you shouuld wait in the brush for a gank. When you see your opportunity activate highlander wuju style and your ghostblade. Alpha strike onto them and start hitting them with your red buff. This should give your team mate enough time to start attacking them. By then you should get the kill.

Yi has alot of bad things about him and alot of good things about him.
Pros

his skils refresh after a kill.
He is really fun to play.
Very Powerful
Awesome ganker
Very good early and late game

Cons
He is somewhat squishy
Gets focused alot
Most people call you a noob when you own them
