The work of gravediggers is essential amongst the living, but invaluable in the Shadow Isles. There are many shades of death there, and each is embraced rather than feared or reviled. One can only ascend from one state to the next with the magical aid of a skilled professional. At the end of the first Rune War, Yorick Mori made his living as a gravedigger. His family owned and maintained the Final Rest Memorial, one of the oldest cemeteries in Valoran. The shovel he employed for his work had been passed down for generations. Each gravedigger taught his son that this shovel was imbued with the spirit of every forefather, and that those spirits would protect him during the long lonely nights amongst the tombstones. To his eternal regret, Yorick died without an heir, bringing the proud Mori line to a close. His body was interred with his shovel in the family mausoleum, and the Final Rest Memorial soon fell to ruin. Death, however, was not the end Yorick had expected.
Yorick emerged on the haunted shores of the Shadow Isles – not quite dead, definitely not alive – still clutching his beloved shovel. He soon learned that with it he could act as a ferryman for the Isles' undead denizens, helping them climb death's many-tiered ladder. This proved a curse, as a gravedigger must "bury his quota" before he too can ascend, or so the legend goes. No one knows what "his quota" is. Yorick dug tirelessly, waiting in vain for the day when he would be freed of his burden. As decades turned to centuries, the shame of his failures came to a head. He returned to Valoran to find his corpse, convinced that salvation might be buried with it. When he arrived, no trace remained of either the mausoleum or the memorial. Hope nearly lost, he discovered the League of Legends, and there saw an opportunity to immortalize the family name he allowed to be forgotten ages ago.

Sup guys its me wolf4ever here with my way of playing Yorick. When i first bought him i sayed to myself: ****, Riot are a bunch of ***-buckets, but after a while i actually managed to form a good build (+its pretty damn solid ^.^).
Hope you get as much success(ness?) as i do each game.
Okay so im playing Yorick as a Tanky DPS, why? Simple: i failz with DPS and with Tank alone.


Just to be clear about this, the core is actually taken from "Your Yorick Resource *Updated Daily*", Why? Simple: that was the build i was playing with when first bought the grave master.

Lets see what we can type here...

Marks of Desolation: As i stated before, im playing him as a Tanky DPS so he obviously needs some DPS runes.
Seals of Clarity: Yorick Gobbles mana just as much as he eats brains.(meaning alot) he needs these seals to keep him staying on track in both early and late game.
Glyphs of Shielding: These MR runes sure will help him at those sticky team fights against that annie ***** (or sand ******* malzahar). Be sure to pick these up when in store
Quintessences of Desolation: Just like in Marks, lets have a DPS party

Alternate Runes:
Marks of Resilience: We are working on a TANKY dps so these CAN also work.
Seals of Resilience: Blah blah armor armor tanky tanky, we get it.
Glyphs of Warding: these are better for a good early but THIS build is working for late game so i would choose those per lvl MR
Quintessences of Fortitude: Heck, these will do early if you really prefer them over armor pen.

Typical Masteries really. I take 9/21/0 or 21/9/0 simply because they are better than the very useless (on Yorick) Utility tree.

Pros: Is a good pusher thanks to ult
Can play either tank or dps or even TANKY DPS
Is a great harraser thanks to E
Is a supreme late game champ (Just dont **** around early, Im only gonna say this once: YORICK IS ****ING USELESS EARLY GAME)
Tryndamere couldnt kill Yorick late game
Cons:
**** EARLY GAME (okay that was twice, but thats it) (btw the late game compromises for the early)
Not the best ult in the game (kind of like a ****ty version of mordekaisers ult)
Is mana thirsy both early and late game

"Hey, there are only 3 items in this build???"
yes, tardy unreal questioner guy.

You have your core builds, which are the Blade of doran, manly mune and the Threads of mercury (okay this isnt a core, but i cant put two items in the core cause people will think im ******ed)

So, after i get my core items, what do i do now?
Now, we have a party.


Optional items:
Ninja tabi: Get these if they have many (like 3,4) ******* dps *******s which think that they are cool and OP, otherwise get your Threads.

Third item: Banshees veil: MR,HP,MP,PWN PASSIVE. what more? get these if they have some solid ap carrys. otherwise rush the frozen heart cause this puppy gives us some mean armor and good mp to merge with the Manamune.
Fourth item: If you got banshees i would take Randuins omen or Thornmail.
If you took the Frozen heart i would take Force of Nature ftw.
Fifth item: Take either the Sunfire cape or if you dont need more armor take the Frozen Mallet.
Sixth item: This item will wrap up your build, so its a DPS item.
Take either the Madreds Blood Razor if facing difficult Tanks or take the Bloodthirster if your doing awesome so you can easily get to 100 dmg and 25%(?) lifesteal OR you can even buy that Infinity Edge for some nice crit and 80 dmg.


NOW YOU OWN WITHOUT DOUBT.

IDK why im even doing this subject, hmmm... skill sequence... Yea... Spam QWEEWQQWEEWQ and auto attack, when you get to low health cast E, when they start running cast W, when your bored out of your mind killing them Press Q. IF you want another 100% more dmg you can use your ult (dont save it for when you die, you wont die).

Oh, this is a big BTW: always get the blue buff, if your mate is getting it and he is not jungling ask for it, if he does not respond take it anyways, i hate those guys that think that if they say:"oops didnt see the message" everythings alright again (**** em).

Exhaust & Ignite, Why?

Exhaust: i take this simply because its very good for ganking, and for getting away from that tryndamere that deals 5000 dmg each hit.

you could take instead: Flash, ghost and stuff. but dont cause if you do you spend points in utility tree (well i guess ghost is fine, but simply not as good as exhaust in my opinion)

Ignite: Dont you guys hate that lucky ******* that just got away with that 15 hp? I do. "Ignites" ... "You have slain an enemy"

alternative: none so far (i might check him as a jungler, if hes good ill simply switch ignite with smite).

After a lot of training Ive finally come the the conclusion: Yorick is the best champ late game. trouble is, hes the worst champion early game. keep that sentence in mind, hope you upvote me, try it first though (i dont want to be the one that got to the top through friends) gimme some feedback guys :) and ill see you laterz.
