Yorick

Yorick is pretty difficult to play early on so focus on minions unless you and your team decide to do a team fight. When you reach about lvl 16 you should be able to take a couple of enemies. Remember to use your ult well, it is very handy on yourself/ally, if you die then you come back and get revenge, or you can use you ult to get away by adding a object in the enemies way.

Yorick's next attack will deal bonus physical damage and summon a Spectral Ghoul for up to 5 seconds. The Spectral Ghoul deals additional damage and moves faster. While the ghoul is active, Yorick moves faster as well.

Summoner Spells

For your Summoner Spells you would want to have Heal and Clarity. Heal for when to get into fights and start losing health quickly, and Clarity, so you can stay in lanes longer which gets you more money. You'r Clarity Spell has a 3 minute cooldown but if you use it right you should be able to stay in a lane for a while.

Items

For his item you want to buy quite a lot of atk dmg items but you also want to have a good atk speed and movement speed. You want to get Yorick's attack damage up because his minion's do 30% of his attack damage and they have 30% of his health but they lose 10% health each second. Yorick with high Damage = High Damage Dealing Minions!
To start off I get a Long Sword. Once I have enough money to get a second I do. Then I get Boots of Speed, and then I upgrade to the Berserker's Grieves. At which point I will start to save up money. Once I have about 900 gold I upgrade one of the Long Swords to the Phage, again I save and once I have Around 1000 gold I upgrade the other Long Sword to The Brutializer. From there I get a B.F.Sword. Then I upgrade the Phage to the Frozen Mallet and The Brutializer to the Youmuu's Ghostblade. Once I have enough money I upgrade the B.F.Sword to The Black Cleaver. And if all goes good and the game hasn't ended yet I would usually get the Infinity Edge, but it would depend on who I am facing and there builds. Like if they were using lots of life stealing items i might want to get more health or a couple or Thornmails.

Farming

Early on you want to farm with Yorick (if you can)otherwise don't chase just stay where your minions are or try to gank the enemies from behind. Farming is important because you want to have lots of money to buy your items.

Farming is the best + easiest way to lvl up Yorick!

Pros / Cons

Pros
High Damage
Ult is Good for taking down enemies faster + adding an extra body between you and the enemy
Great in team fights

Cons
Very Squishy in the beginning
Minion's only last 5 seconds (which I hope they Buff)

My Opinion

I think that Yorick is a very good champ but his minion's need to be buffed because they only last a short while and only have like 700hp at lvl 18, which is not enough to do damage to enemies. This was also my first build I ever made.
