Introduction
I will continue working on this build. I know it's a little picture-less, but rest assured, this build will be "to the max." in no time.
ArP = armor pen
CDR = cooldown reduction
MR = magic resist
mp5 = mana per 5 seconds
In my greatest opinion, Yorick is a big softy early game with his low mana and his somewhat decent damage.
The reason i go for ArP marks and quints is simply because, Yoricks damage is somewhat lacking in the earlier phase of the game. grabbing some early ArP can turn you from a tickler to a truck in no time.
When it comes to seals, there is nothing better than mp5/level. The reason i get these seals is because i like to stay in lane, and still have mana to work with. I tried a few types of seals, but these always came out on top. It's great to be able to harrass on yorick, because his Q is awesome to harrass with, not to mention his ranged lifesteal, and his yummy decay ghoul. mp5 will keep you in the lane longer, and keep you from getting wrecked.
Now when it comes to glyphs you can go for one of two things. My personal favorite is the MR. I like MR because this also helps me to stay in lane longer, without getting wrecked by those ranged casters. Another thing you can go for is CDR. CDR is helpful because you can harrass a little bit quicker. The reason i don't go for CDR, though, is simply because by the time you get your CDR items, you will be at 40%(which is the cap for CDR.) but it's personal choice really. Do with what you will.

The thing about Yorick, is the fact that he is pretty versatile. When it comes to masteries, he's pretty damn good with utility, offense, or defense. I prefer defensive, because i'm sure, by now, you've figured out that i'm all about early game laning. The longer i can stay in lane and level/get gold, the better. I like to be able to take **** and dish it out. but masteries is another one of those "personal preference" type deals. If you want to go straight offensive, hybird, utility, be my guest. He's great with anything.
The reason i go with the build i have is because i like to stay in lane a little longer, and later on in the game i like to take the buffs in the forest. which is why i get utility mastery 2/2 instead of only getting 1 in it and going for tenacity. Tenacity is a great talent to invest in if you want to take 4% less damage. I, personally, don't think it's all that good. if you take 100 damage, you take 4 less of it, which, honestly, isn't that big of a difference. and if you want to go into more detail, 1000 damage = 40 less damage.

Now for my items. When it comes to items, i like to build defensive and offensive. I love my CDR for yorick because the more i can get my Q and my E out, the better. I love trinity force on any champion with an ability like his Q. what i mean by that is, when it's used, it uses trinity force, and applies his Q to the NEXT ATTACK HE DOES. meaning that when he attacks someone, his Q will deal more damage from trinity force, instead of just dealing more damage with his auto attack. ghostblade is another item i love on champions because of it's amazing use. Now i know people that just hate use items. If you're one of those people, you can replace this item with phantom dancer, or last whisper, or whatever the heck you want to replace it with. I prefer ghostblade because it is just a great item. Now, i get spirit visage, because Yoricks E heals him. Spirit Visage increases that already sexy heal, to an even more sexy heal. Not to mention the CDR it gives.
