I'm close to 1700 elo and this guide does some things well and some things bad. Your build isn't viable in ranked play really at any elo. Maxing his Q isn't how you lane him, ever. He has good matchups bc of his sustain.
2nd gripe, desolation runes? Why? His ghouls do dmg based off his strength and he does most of his early to mid game dmg with spells, not AAs.
3rd gripe, where are your armor seals for top lane....am I missing a new meta or something? I've seen people sub in mana regen on some blues and yellows, but no armor at all is ridiculous on yellows.
4th, Why are you 21/9 instead of 9/21? He is a back liner that needs to get in to the back with himself and his ghost since he has awful peeling options. He really needs to be in there, why are you not running him tankier?
5th is part of point 4. Why are you build a manamune into a sheen without any sustain OR tanky items? By the time you have those, it's mid game and you are a piece of paper, change your build order, its bad. If you rush manamune, thats fine. Build health right after, not sheen.
This guide has potential, but I'd decimate you in a lane if you tried to do this gimmicky junk to me. He is really good if you play and build him right, you're not doing either right now. I'm goign to give this a +1, but only because I feel like this guide has more potential than you're showing
thanks for your feedback and as i said ill change things as i go, I will add a more early tanky build as well, in regards to maxing Q first I think that personnally Yoricks power doesn't just come from his sustain and even a level 1 E is good as the enemy probably will not try and fight you after seeing your insane damage on your Q, In most games i find i don't need to build too tanky until after trinity force as your E and just overall damage will be enough to win most fights but as again I will put a more tanky build in as well
In regards to masteries i looked around and played him myself pretty offensively so I don't know about more defensive masteries, however I will put some options for a defensive masterery set in as well, In terms of runes I kinda like health runes as armour is fine and all but it will give you more health for your ult clone, but honestly runes are pretty much what you want them to be, if you like armour than thats good and if you like health thats ok too, just because i prefere something that doesn't mean its for everybody
The desolation runes are for his opponents armour as most solo's get a lot of armour like malphite or such, you can go other kinds of runes on him but they are the ones i prefere
