Zed Build Balance is Weakness
why choose Zed out of all champions?
Alright, if you are still reading this chapter than that means you seriously do want to master Zed. Now, the first biggest thing is that if you plan on playing Zed than you have to be willing to main him, or master him. Playing him "sometimes" is not the best option. He is a very complex and powerful champion so he needs lots of practice and work. If you plan on using him, you should promise yourself that you will master him no matter what. Now that we got that out of the way, we can begin training. So, Zed is a mid lane champion, which basically means he excels in the mid lane.
Alright, finally we can start your training NIT.(That means ninja in training) So, to start off you need to have a good laning phase. Zed excels when you use him properly, but using him even a little improperly can be devastating. To begin, you should practice last hitting with Zed and his amazing passive. His passive allows your laning phase to be a lot easier and more effective. His passive grants you the ability to do more damage when a minion is very low on health. This makes it so that there are less mistakes in last hitting. I've practiced about 17 hours of last hitting in bot games, so you should start off like that too. I recommend you to practice in at least 2 bot games a day in last hitting with Zed, and you will get the hang of it very easily. Now, the goal is to have 80 CS in 10 minutes and 200 CS by the end of the game. Getting more CS early is valuable because than you can get your vital items on Zed faster, and do more burst damage, allowing you to win more games.
Okay, so now that you have hopefully practiced last hitting with Zed, it is time to learn the rest of the laning phase NIT's. Okay, so Zed can be very good at poking away at an enemy's health bar. The best thing to do is that if you are playing against a bad player, use w, then e to slow him down, and then use q to get more damage off. Do not try to engage every time to get a kill, because you do not want to die. Instead if you do that 2 or 3 times, then when you use w and e, shift to your shadow and then you can finish him with q. Try not to use your ignite, instead use your thunderlord's decree, which activates after your third hit. Your first hit will be your e, then your q, and then your auto. That burst damage will usually take out any mid laner that you are up against with Zed. Be very careful in not using your w if your are going against a good enemy and if their jungler seems to like to gank you a lot. Your w is your only good escape from them, other than your flash, but try not to burn your flash, because you may want to use it to attack with your combos.
Now, if you followed my rules carefully, and did as you were told NIT's then you should be fairly ahead of other players and you should have a very good burst damage. You should now begin roaming and attacking the lanes that you feel are best suited for you. Go for the lanes where the champion has not much armor, or any at all, because your burst damage will make them go "poof". Now you may be telling me, Sorry Senpai, but I messed up, how do I come back? The answer is simple, farm, and never give up. The most important thing is that if you fall behind with Zed, just farm minions and make sure that you do not get killed. Play safer, play more carefully, until you have good damage, and can do what I was talking about earlier, making enemy's go "poof"!
Now, if you are reading this, you are probably okay with Zed, but may not like him anymore, or maybe you love him and you want a very secret tip from me. Read every word I am about to tell you because it is all important NIT's. The secret to playing Zed is to never give up. That is my ninja way, and it should be yours too. I've played many late games, and also many mid games, where I fell very behind. The goal is to keep going no matter what. Encourage your team, keep trying and you will win. Winning isn't for everyone, you need to know that, but never give up when playing Zed, because in any situation, he will get you out of it, just make sure that you are persistent and keep on fighting. (ALSO HIS SECRET COMBO IS THIS: ..... PLACE A W DIAGONAL FROM YOU AND THEN PRESS R, THEN USE E AND THEN SHIFT TO YOUR W SHADOW, THEN USE Q, AND THEN SHIFT OVER TO YOUR W, THEN FLASH TO THE OTHER SIDE FROM WHERE YOUR W IS AND THEN USE IGNITE OR DO AN AUTO ATTACK. THE SECRET IS THAT YOU WILL NEVER GET HIT AND YOU WILL DEMOLISH YOUR ENEMY AND HE WILL EXPLODE. AFTER YOU FLASH AND DO YOUR THING, RUN!!! USE YOUMUU'S GHOSTBLADE ACTIVE AND RUN!!!! YOUR ENEMY WILL DIE TO YOUR DEATH MARK.) :) HOPE MY SECRET TECHNIQUE HELPS!! :)
Well then, you NIT's will become great ninjas one day, and maybe a hokage like me one day. HAHHAHAHA, well hope you liked the guide, freely ask questions and I will answer them and know this, you can never be as good as me with Zed, but it's worth a try I guess!!
