Playing with Zed is quite a challenge, but LANING is one of the most important factors to win a match. Zed is a pure champion especially made for the MIDDLE lane. Mid lane, often played with Zed, Annie, Zoe, Teemo and some OP champs may be quite hard for beginners, so if you encounter an ADR of ADC in the middle lane, do not engage until the jungler ganks your opponent or your team or the opposite team clashes on the mid lane.
