He can see you anywhere on the map. This is bad because he will be prepared if you go for an invade on his big buffs. His tankyness late game makes him completely impenitrable by your auto attacks.

Ivern is a really great pick if you have strong carries on your team, and he works really good in this meta, as there is a lot of melee champions being played, which has really good synergy with Ivern's [E] Triggerseed.

- Can die to a lot of junglers early

Ivern can be punished early by getting counter jungled, so you will need to ward both river bushes to make sure, that you don't get invaded without knowing. Tell your botlane or midlaner to ward the oppisite river bush of the side you are starting on, and ward the river bush you are starting at. Ivern can also be really tough to play, if you have bad carries on your team, or if you have fallen too behind early.

Jungle Pathing

Start at your red buff, then move to the raptor nest and proc those as well. you want to move into your blue side jungle. Hit the plant over the wall into the blue buff. Proc it then smite it. this will give you an instant level 2. Then start the gromp and move backwards to proc wolves. From there go to the raptors and collect the groves. after that get red. Then Krugs. Shift backwards again into the blue side and collect wolves and gromp. By this time the scuttle crab should be spawning in. This is where things get a bit interesting. Proc scuttle and smite it. This insures you instant vision on river. From here I will either go for an invade on the enemy red side jungle, or I will gank mid and head for a double scuttle. both of these are risky plays, so make sure your laners are on board with this. This could also be the perfect time to gank while you wait for your camps to come back up. If you are looking to go for an invade on the enemy red, it may be a good idea to use some of the extra MS at the start of the round to place a control ward on the enemy red. Make sure you have a plan to escape in you need to. Hitting the plant into dragon pit is always viable.
