Your colour schemes are also effective, and I recommend you keep a similar style on that front. If you're looking to improve, you should try to make the background more personalized, as most of them are simply the normal background with a couple of effects on top. Try using some c4ds and fade brushes to stylize the background, and then try and incorporate the render into it rather than having the character "sitting on top" of the background if you get my drift. the same method of incorporating layers applies to your text as well - Just try fading edges or perhaps making it transparent (setting to "soft light" is also very good).
