I'm casting the inhouse on my stream at the moment, in case anyone wants to drop by.

Signups have been cleared, you can now register for the games on June 14 and June 15.

Please keep in mind that this is a community event, with players of a wide range of skill levels. If someone on your team makes mistakes, try to remain calm. During recent inhouses we've had several players who were consistently giving very harsh feedback. Not only does it lower team morale, but giving feedback in this manner won't help that player do better.

Some of our players are Platinum or Diamond level, but that doesn't mean you can rage at the less experienced players for not doing as well or what you'd like.

mowen and I also spoke about a way to alleviate the picks and bans blues.

from now on we ask that you communicate with your team about roles BEFORE the host starts the match, this will make it much easier to get a role you desire, or not get the roles you don't wish to play. It seems very unfair that someone would be stuck in a role they dont want, not just once, but several times in a row, and we've acknowledged this and pooled together to find some other ways to alleviate this. So from now on, before every match, at least on NA, We'll be recommending that players converse about roles before the game in ventrillo, and if they cannot talk, PM someone in their team who can talk. This allows for a sense of secrecy in picks/bans, but still allows us to communicate and know our roles prior to the match, this way no one gets stuck in the role they hate (as often as they do), and we know what we're doing so the fp or second pick doesn't have to go "WAIT WHAT AM I DOING."

Elohell is like Irelia's stun: if your real level is equal or lower than the level you are in, you're STUNNED there forever. If your actual level is higher than the level you are in, you're just SLOWED in your way up.

I updated the OP, but you can always look on the calendar for the next inhouse time. Although, they're pretty much at the same time / day every week. :P
Thanks to GrandMasterD for my sig!

Not entirely sure if this is the right place for this (I'd PM the host but I don't know who will host tomorrow), but here goes anyhow. Balancing is hard enough, and then you need to try and get people into positions where they can enjoy themselves, so I figured I'd help you to help me. Obviously talking amongst the team is being encouraged now, and should help, but there's nothing to be lost from posting here, aye?

My preferred roles in the sign-up sheet have been rather disparate across the weeks because I've had a lot of troubles that have made what I enjoy normally entirely different to what I can enjoy in the inhouse. A lack of confidence coupled with me feeling a great deal of pressure to do well for the team has pretty much led to me not using my head and leaving all the thinking to others. Not the first time I've done something like that and still just as stupid. And that's a problem on my end, it's something I'm progressing on, hence why I signed up for another week.

Anyhow, despite the fact that jungling is something I'm learning atm, I find it ludicrously stressful in the inhouses. The need to make effective ganks, help lanes falling behind, control buffs, maintain clear and so on just completely fries my head. It's a little tiring but very rewarding with a bunch of random people I barely give a jot about, it's frankly miserable in the inhouses where I actually care about the people I'm playing with.

Similarly, a complete lack of melee experience means that I really just do not know how to respond outside of the lane if I go top and makes me feel similarly useless and stressed late game. I'm saving up for Vlad, and nothing really stops me from taking one of my mages up top, but it's something for me to try to avoid. I probably enjoyed playing against Pheniex in top lane more than anywhere else because I had no idea what I was doing, but that only really applies to the relative isolation of the lane.

I'm getting over my issues and learning to communicate with the team, so I guess the tl;dr of this is I really don't want to jungle. Ever. Everything else is something I can try to work out with my team.

Another member recently had a similar type of complaint about Support (not the reasons, but the "I dont' ever want to do that"). And honestly, that should be fine. The point of these inhouses is to accommodate. As long as you aren't auto-locking and are willing to work as a team, everything should be cool.

I noticed in your signups that you said you cannot make games on Wednesdays. So you know, the only games that we've held on Wednesday recently were the May Special Event games. See you tomorrow bro :D
