Round 2
Enemy team
JohnasR: Gold V F0x Ironbeard: Silver III Karamula: Gold V WCP4to: Silver IV Gé13: Silver V The plan in this game was to go for a Zed first pick and combine that with another splitpusher top lane, which is pretty much exactly what we ended up with after they left Shen open. We knew they'd put high priority on Nocturne since it was the most played champion of their jungler, but since we had Shen ult and Janna we weren't too scared of them initiating onto us together with Leona. Since they picked Nasus we decided to laneswap and starve him as much as possible, which worked out pretty well. In the end we were applying pressure on all lanes at once and managed to win convincingly. |
Round 3
Enemy team
sokolcze: Diamond IV Fernanmaister: Diamond III jajeghedderkarl: Diamond II Piipous3k: Diamond IV Schaider: Diamond III Knowing we didn't have first pick this game, we decided to instead ban Zed and were hoping to pick Renekton because it was a high priority pick for their top laner. We also banned Aatrox because their jungler had played it the game before and we didn't want to deal with that, especially as he can dive so well in a 1v2 lane. They ended up first picking Renekton, so instead we reverted to a pretty standard siege comp with Xerath that we've played before. Unfortunately, we had a level one 4v4 teamfight near our blue buff and they managed to steal it (despite being generally lower in terms of health than us afterwards) and they started snowballing pretty soon into the game with Lee Sin doing a lot of work. Even though there were some individual mistakes that we could've avoided in this game and they escaped with low health from situations a couple of times, they simply outperformed us overall and brought our tournament to an end. |

They actually spotted our positioning on a level 1 ward and sent their duo lane top too, so the laneswap really ended up not changing anything.
also i totally outcsed a diamond player am i challenger now
TENTH GAME
We won most fights but they had pressure on pretty much every lane all the time with Zed and Jax often splitpushing. Tough to deal with.
