Bumping thread to remind everyone that the NLB 3rd place match between SKT T1 K and KTB is on Wednesday at 5:30 AM EST (11:30 AM CEST). Champions 3rd place between Ozone and Blaze is 2 days after that, on the 16th. The NLB finals between Frost and Sword follow one day after that, and finally the Masters playoffs between CJ Entus and NaJin e-mFire start on Sunday.

Samsung White are looking really shaky now with their 1-1 vs SKT S, and Lustboy said in his AMA that the White roster is having some internal issues between members.
If they have a good day, yes. They may be weak in OGN/NLB but take into consideration that Koreans have a way better developed gaming environment than we do in Europe/NA - that also means that they'll practice harder than we do, and have a more disciplined playstyle. It's also a lot harder to research them while they can easily do research on the LCS teams. Fnatic still is a really high caliber team so I think they'd definitely have an edge, but every top team can drop games as we see in EULCS.
Have a look at this post by Alliance's AD Carry Tabzz, he's a really smart guy and sums up well what the difference between KR and EU and (to a slightly lesser extent) NA really is.
I agree with this heavily, Monte was talking about it on the Twitch "Chasing the Cup" in quite a few of the episodes. It went something along the lines of "the things that NA really lack are the drive and the professionalism that the Korean scene has, there is money being put towards getting analysts and coaches who have made amateur players in things like the SC2 scene into legends, so they have that major experience and are applying it to the league of legends scene. Unless NA follows that route, there will always be a disparity in skill level between the scenes."
