Honestly? The champs you're good with. Some are more viable than others, but in the end your skill on the champ will decide whether or not you'll carry. You make it sound like you're equally good (or bad) on every champ which is simply not true.
Also, the fact that your friend says you should be higher is flattering but is not going to get you anywhere. Don't underestimate opponents at your current elo, don't look down on them or on your teammates: you're in there, right now you're statistically as bad as they are, it's up to you to prove you're better. Try to get a better idea of what your strengths are and exploit them. At the same time, try to get a better idea of your weaknesses and work on them. With dedication, you'll get there.
Good luck :)

This is just a list of champions I think are fairly solid and flexible. I gave champions for different roles. I left out some champions that are practically insta-banned.

I actually am equally good or bad with every champ. I actually do play every champ equally. the real problem is the teams I play with. I don't look down on anyone. I voice my opinions but nothing to outrageous.

There is no "for sure" carry champion to 1500s if you belong there you can play whatever champs you normally do and get there,. I played
Wukong to 1500s Elo, he was my pick of something I was good at.

I actually don't believe that. You can be the best of any champ and be 100 elo just cause of your team. It's based off of team play but some champs do have an advantage i just can't seem to grasp which ones.

Than try playing champions who have good team synergy, so you can carry your team.

This is 100% not true.
The only way to consistently lose games is to bring your team down on average.
Every game you play is a 4v5 + you. You can either bring the four above the five, or below the five.
Your team can only have 4 bad players, where as the other team can have 5 bad players, all you have to do is not be a bad player to see success.
100% play the champions that you are best at, if that's every champion, then play whatever feels right.
