Wintermond's Season 2 Solo Queue Journey

This was destructive for me and even ganks didn't help since he just ran away. BUT Once the laning phase was over and we got our first dragon, I came back really good through killing low hp runners in teamfights(Was too underfarmed to join the real heat of the battle :x). And then their Brand dc'd what gave us a tower, two kills and baron. He reconnected after ~2 minutes, but the advantage we got was too big, was pretty much game at that moment. I really learned why Gangplank is considered one of the hardest counters to Akali and Jax; He can Q them every 2 seconds and when they want to trade damage with him he stacks his poison and slow and kills them. He is really destructive against champions that are vulnerable for ranged harass in the lane. I guess I should've picked Garen or Cho, Garen outdamages(and can outsustain) him and Cho just outsustains him.[/quote]

Didn't play Jax in ranked games for quite a while and I used to be maining him, so I thought I'd give him a shot again. Was laning against Talon top, a pretty tough lane for Jax since he is considerably weak early and Talon's W dealt some nice dmg, but I stacked Dorans up to three and was "OK". GP and Zalon took the tower together when I was ~lvl 7 and at 1/3 Hp, but that was okay since I could freefarm top. I played very careful this game and focused on farming and helping at objectives such as dragon or towers. When I got my cutlass(I rush Gunblade on Jax, the Rageblade is in the second slot because I got it last and sold a dorans blade for it) I was able to fight in teamfights and we won most of them with less than 3 losses on our side. We made sure to keep up dragon control and managed to get every single dragon this game. I continued pushing top lane since I had my Teleport which allowed me to join every Teamfight and noone could take me 1v1. I went 4/0/6 midgame and kept up the safe playing, unlike the previous games. We got their mid inhibitor ~30 minutes into the game after a teamfight but got really cocky there and tried to fight their respawned team(One of the most common mistakes, NEVER do this) and lost three people, including me. They rushed to Baron and killed it, but the next teamfight we just stomped them despite their Baron buff. After that it was pretty much game, we did one or two more pushes and eventually destroyed their Nexus. I died once when I mindlessly dived kassadin at their mid Inhibitor turret, I killed him but the rest of his team was there and I died aswell. Our WW followed me and got killed too. BUT this one was the only mentionable mistake I did this game, can't think of anything else where I screwed up. Yay, I think I start to control my greed. :D[/quote]

Also, DON'T start with Doran's Blade since this will cripple his early sustain a lot, better start with cloth+5 pots or boots+3 pots. We decided to got bot together, he forced me to support(Ad instalock ftw) and if there is one role I cannot play, even tho I understand it in theory and know what to do and such, it's the supporter. Supporter is by far my worst role(Check out my support maokia Guide btw it's awesome). We went bot vs Ezreal and Taric, a pretty strong combo since Ezreal is the strongest earlygame AD Champion and Taric is a really good support for agressive ad's such as Caitlyn, Ezreal or Vayne. For some reason, mithil had a latency of >500 all the time what crippled us greatly since he couldn't escape Taric's stun and couldn't dodge Ezreal's Q's. Top was pretty even and got constantly ganked by Amumu, mid was meh and our Jungler was pretty bad, he didn't gank anything and just cleared his Jungle over and over again, even when he was lvl 6. So, our lane went REALLY bad, Vayne got caught nearly every time Taric went for a stun and I did my best to eat Ezreal's Q's for her. At some point(Must've been ~lvl 6), Ezreal was 4/0 and they got their first Dragon, there was no way we could defend it, especially since our Vayne was dead at that moment. The lane kept going like that, we got killed over and over again, I died for him more than once and maxed heal but it didn't help: Ezreal was raping us. As you can imagine, we surrendered very soon. 12/0 Ezreal is just too stronk. I think we could've won this lane if mithil didn't have such lags(5 seconds delay at peaks), but we couldn't help it. I always warded the first bush in the lane because the lane was constantly pushed by Ezreal and Taric was just lurking there to stun one of us. I don't think that I did too bad as a support, despite my bad score. It was due to Vayne's lags we lost this lane and the game, that makes me kinda sad. :< Also, Ezreal is considered being the best counter to Vayne during the laning phase because he can Q her when she goes for a lasthit or Tumbles. But that doesn't mean it's impossible to lane against him as Vayne.[/quote]
