Solid patch but they should have nerfed the insane true damage that can reset after a kill instead of the grace period that shouldn't actually be there from the beginning.
Passive nerf is ok, but he will still slow you to eternity while hitting you like a truck and smashing your last bit of health with his NOXUUUUUUUUUS headsmasher...

gah. gah. i just got addicted to graves, and now this. :(. maybe the change will be better, but yea. the nerf for darius is necessary :).

the graves q 'nerf' makes it stronger in the way it was meant to be, getting up close and blasting someone in the face for high damage.

He can't escape ganks at all. Camp the ****er, GG.

Btw, do you guys rush a revolver on swain..? i don't i do something like double doran's-Rabadon's-Revolver(wota if double ap)-Rylais-Zhonya's-Voidstaff.

If i'm fed i go for a RoA for the pentakills but if not, i just leave it out.

nope. i go null magic mantle and 2 pot, building that into chalice. besides that its roa, rylais, zhonyas, deathcap

Rylai's on swain? Never been fan. Its much better to go rod of ages.. you get mana and hp much more tanky slow is nice for his ult i guess but he has alot cc already no need for it IMO. Mana is needed.


Athene's Unholy Grail is pretty much core IMO on him now i usually get Chalice of Harmony then go rod of ages or death cap once i have those 2 done i finish it. Then blue buff and its like blue buff was never nerf :D

Okay, let me clear things up about the Graves nerfs.



Buckshot: Honestly, this shouldn't affect any skilled graves player. It's minor as long as you get up close and personal with your buckshot. They merely nerfed it's overall ability to harass, which was kinda necessary since you could stand at max range and still out harass other ranged ad opponents.

In the end, if you include the per bullet bonus you get these numbers...





Before the patch: 60/105/150/195/240 Damage. Damage per additional bullet is 25%.

Since the "nerf" applies at later skill levels I will use a max level Buckshot as an example.




You fire your Maxed out Buckshot and hit your opponent, these are the numbers.




A) You hit your opponent with only 1 bullet - Result - You deal 240 damage.

-This is the most likely outcome if you fire buckshot on long range.


B) You hit your opponent with 2 bullets - Result - You deal 240 damage for the first bullet and 60 bonus damage for the second bullet (25% bonus from the 240 damage from your first bullet). For a total of 300 damage.

-This is the most likely outcome if you fire the shot at an angle or if the enemy is at close-medium range.


C) You hit your opponent with all 3 bullets - Result - You deal 240 damage for the first bullet and 60 bonus damage for the second and third bullet (25% bonus from the 240 damage from your first bullet x2). For a total of 360 damage.

-This is the most likely outcome if you are right in your opponents face like you should be.

So, you have a potential to deal 240 damage if you hit your opponent with a single bullet.

You have a maximum potential damage of 360 if you hit your opponent with all 3 bullets.

C) You hit your opponent with all 3 bullets (optimal) - Result - You deal 200 damage for the first bullet and 70 bonus damage for the second and third bullet (35% bonus from the 200 damage from your first bullet x2). For a total of 340 damage (20 less).

-This is the most likely outcome if you are right in your opponents face like you should be.

Summary



Basically it will nerf your damage by 40 when you hit someone with a single bullet (long ranged) and by only 20 if you hit someone with all 3 bullets (in their face).





As far as Smoke Screen is concerned, there is no real nerf here. The duration was reduced by 1 second so now it will be 4 seconds instead of 5 seconds. This shouldn't effect your gameplay significantly at all and this nerf also makes sense since 5 seconds was a bit long for it's ability to cut off a section of the battlefield, especially in limited movement areas.
