Really it all depends.


I think the benchmark on when it takes true skill is after 1.5k (solo queue) or if you trained / practiced with a team.

I think 1400-1450 is more like the benchmark.
I've had significant improval in number of jungler invasions, team-dragons, early dragon wards, general real "plays" since i hit 1450(again).

INB4 Never hitting gold.
