I wouldn't waste that refund on someone like Tryndamere, if its someone very expensive then maybe. But chances are you might want to learn about that certain character more and try something outrageous from one of the guides. I kind of regret refunding Pantheon because nothing worked for him when i tried him, refunding him and buying Riven is not the greatest idea I've had while playing this and I've done some silly stuff. If done right, Tryndamere can be pretty scary.
Who knows, Riot might decide to buff him or anyone else, you just never know since they are so bloody unpredictable. I'd still maybe save that refund for someone or something very expensive.
