I'll use it when and where I see fit, LOL.
Besides, don't you have a career to be focusing on? I wonder why you spend your time in this community. Doesn't seem very career-oriented to me. Lucky those people who don't have to socialise with you in real life.
*sigh*
Edit: (*Disclaimer* Yes, I'm aware it's possible to fit gaming life around career goals, because I'm doing exactly that)

There is no reason to claim that there will never be any other interests for you as a person. The issue is it that you'll never experience which things might be interesting and exciting if you don't give it a try. Implying that you are miserable at anything else which doesn't relate to gaming is a naïve assumption. If you don't like the game you're playing there is no reason to continue playing it unless there are conditions which might change your attitude towards the game. Therefore, trying to play a game for a living you don't like just because you 'feel like having to do this' is just as naïve as believing there isn't anything else piquing your curiosity.
I firmly believe that there are people who want to be friends with you and vice versa but guess what things might cause troubles in your relation - I'd say it will come down to your attitude and you being too narrow-minded. Be more spontaneous and open-minded especially concering other people's opinions and attitudes! Think about what you could also possibly be interested in when it comes to IT in general, perhaps. You didn't even included a direct question to us whether we think you should continue playing the game or not. You literally just told us that there will never be any progress concerning that topic.
'Sometimes the blues is just a passing bird', just saying.

I have two options... I can quit, or I can keep playing. I clearly don't have fun, this game sucks. But, I'm not gonna quit either despite the fact that I'll never fullfill my goal in life. Ultimately, I just wanna do something in gaming for a living and nothing else. I would be miserable doing anything else.
Have you considered going into game design? I have several friends who just got offers from prominent gaming companies like unison, kaon and Activision. They LOVE it!
If I helped you out, be sure to throw me a +Rep!

I have, game design is one of my favorite things to do in my spare time. That's where my gaming career interest first started when I was around 12-years old and my favorite game was The Twin Snakes and the only designer I knew of at the time was Hideo Kojima.
Short Term Goals: Silver/Gold/Platinum || Long Term Goals: Diamond/Master/Challenger

Do you have any actual experience? Doesn't seem like you do. You are constantly incorrect about things that you deem poor bad design but aren't and pretty much all you do is whine, complain and shift blame off yourself (ignoring good design because you just suck). I mentioned before you're likely the least entertaining person when it comes to this game, and thus you will never have any form of a career playing it, or any similar game. I hate to break the hard truths to you, but then I realize you only respond in memes. Possibly a coping mechanism. I'm not sure. I'm not a psychiatrist (Sirell, got anything?).
So let me clarify. You have a terribly boring and rather irritating personality. You seemingly have no creativity in the game, or in anything else you do (again, all you do is respond in memes a majority of the time, write some compelling posts.)
(That bit was mean, but I do have a happy message to this post! This is the bit where I try to help.)
Secondly. You are unhealthy and unstable, mentally. I can tell that much just by your post about not wanting a social life. Games are meant to be enjoyed in moderation and you, as I and many others before you, are addicted. It's a vicious cycle, and you seem complacent. This isn't a good thing, and you should honestly seek to remove a lot of gaming time from your life as I have. You'll feel better, and have a better outlook on life. Who knows maybe you have some hidden talent for something you never thought about.
Or you know, wither away. Sit inside. Waste time trying to win at a game that you're clearly not winning. Or pick a new game (A metaphorical one, not a literal video game) and see if you have what it takes. Experimentation with new things is often very enjoyable and healthy if you allow yourself to cope with change. I know it sucks. I have similar issues, as stated. I'm dealing with them, and if I can, so can you.
And so help me GOD if you respond with a ****ing meme.
