I liked how there wasn't really one playstyle that completely dominated, from solomid's triple wriggles, to clg's tanky games, to the euro double mage. It was all about countering, and it made the game just seem a lot more balanced and varied than some of the picks at Dreamhack.
Triple Wriggles is a fad
You win the lane in AD/Support bot, but in terms of straight damage team fights you yield little extra damage with Wriggles compared to an IE or Blood Thirster. It's alright because it improves your dragon kill and baron kill speeds but the trade off (as I said) is the lacking damage.
The trick it seemed was to get into the Wriggles ASAP and then build straight damage. But it made the bot lane AD carry struggle until late game.
