CLG played like we all knew they could.
The 3rd game against Millenium was sexual. Never underestimate the amazing Synergy that is Kog'Maw and MBR (Madred's Blood Razor). I knew they would pick Kog again. Why? Perfect counter to the tanky man meta, even the double AP meta gets snuffed out by MBR. That Cass for Millenium wasn't bad either but they handled her.
The deciding factor was the fight in the jungle when CLG caught Millenium out of position. Saint just diving in there did exactly what CLG wanted it to. SPLIT millenium, Irelia ran over to try and kill Kog, but she got OWNED. And Millenium couldn't recover, a majority of their tankyness went to kill ONE DPS, the DPS RAPED Irelia. Then they picked the rest off one by one.
I don't think the EU version of the tanky men meta understands the effectiveness that is MBR. As well Zilean was used PERFECTLY, rewind spam FTW. Got his ulti off CD to once again save Kog Maw. SOOO PRO.
I'm glad CLG won this, they diserved it. I hope this level of play continues and they don't sink back into what we saw at Dreamhack.
