I learned since making this thread about the report function.
I'm butthurt that he can leave his turd hanging over my head without changing a damn thing. If you don't get what my problem is, I might have rambled a bit, but i'm sick of writing guides that will never reach #1 because some jerk that wrote nonsense 2 years ago comes in once a month and moves a period around.
I don't think you actually even need to change anything about the guide. You just click the update button with no changes made, and the guide will be "updated".

^ I can't believe you just posted that.. zzz
You don't have to change anything, just press publish and it's now back to Ideal. The problem is is that he updates his guide without changing anything, a lot of the information is outdated. You can go to a guide and it can be "Ideal", but still have dodge runes in the cheatsheet.

... Yes, I know that's the problem. When did I say otherwise? Throatslasher was saying that the guy comes on once a month to change a letter to keep his guide up to date, and I responded saying he doesn't even need to change any letters, he just needs to click Publish and the guide will be updated with no changes made.
Well, tbh throat, that
Karma guide can't be forcefully archived because none of the information is actually outdated.
Karma received literally no changes, and he included the most recent one.
None of the main items in his guide has received major changes either, it's not like RoA gives 120 AP or
Frozen Heart/
Glacial Shroud finally got nerfed.
The meta isn't a set of rules you HAVE to follow every game, so his item choices aren't outdated either. Yeah, starting Dorans and going RoA into Glacial without gp5s is probably the worst thing you can do as a zero cs support, but there isn't anything stopping you from doing it, especially in low level games.

Back to the point...Why don't people report more guides that do this? Is it hard to catch? How can we see what a guide writer changed from revision to revision?
I can't speak for everyone active on the forums, but I know that I personally am relatively active here on the forums (though I read much more than I post) and I do not really look at guides ever these days. It is distinctly possible that many other forum regulars simply don't look at guides, and therefore wouldn't realize if this sort of thing is going on.
Moreover, the places that these sorts of guides are most likely to be noted at on the secret forums, only available for vets or other user groups. So it's also possible (and perhaps even likely) that many are known, just not anywhere that you or I can actually see.

My posts may be long. If this bothers you, don't read them.

It actually doesn't matter. Unless the info is severely outdated, they can do nothing.
I have reported a guide for the same reason you have. Nothing doing.
