They didn't change his rage. There's probably just some critiques in your own or your teammates' gameplay that you can improve upon, it's not that Renek is OP.
Yeah I just played a game with karma and renekton in bot and... karma and renekton bot. He's just a lot better, with less early game problems that afflict many melee champions and he has more variety in his rage spells ( Ruthless Predator isn't the only rage spell you should use anymore). All in all I think they balanced renekton to be a great champion without making anyone QQ.
