Simple: If you are on this site and going to that link for help, you have serious tunnel vision. This site has plenty of people willing to help you for free. Though they may not be 'pro', they still obviously have something good to tell you. We even have entire forums dedicated to MENTORING and NEW PLAYER HELP.

The basic concept of this game can be taught in about 20 minutes. Everything you need to know that anybody that pays attention could tell you. Everything beyond that is according to your own will. Learning the basic layout of each champion and counter-picking are all brought about from paying attention. Reaction time, ability sequence, and map awareness are things that take practice.

If you want to spend your money on it, go for it. I will do no such thing.

Just to put this into perspective, how many people doesn't take golf or flyfishing lessons just to enjoy their pasttime more? If I felt like I had the time and the cash I'd gladly pay for an hour or two lesson in LoL for better microing, good tips and good thoughts on my gameplay. I mean, how often don't I know what to do but I still don't do it in game?
If you for some reason want to follow my ranked journey to gold, you can do it Here.

I am against asking for rep, only rep me if you think I contributed well or said something wise.

you are Oh so right, and at the same time oh so wrong!

Noone says that you can't learn this game on your own. but getting lessons might, and in most cases will if the lessons are good, speed that curve up!

Totally seconded. I know I'm good at what I do, but I'm seriously lacking when it comes to stuff like AD carry and coming back from a bad early game.

Thank you to jhoijhoi for the sig, and all the dividers in the guide.

That's slightly what I thought websites like this were for. Ask around. I'm sure somebody would be willing to help, for free.

Learning something in a game that you know you are doing wrong is almost the same process as learning not to piss yourself as a child. You have to work on your recollection when the time comes, try not to forget just because you are in the moment.

@protocol

no, it has nothing to do with how good someone is. people who think the only thing that matters is winning or kda take the game way too seriously, whether they're better or worse than i am doesnt matter.

This game is relatively easier to learn compared to other games. There are so many free tutorials, commentaries, and guides for this game; why spend money just to get something a tad bit better? Well I honestly don't care about rich people throwing money, but seriously, I think this is a waste of cash.
