Fun fact: Even though we got Diamond together, Havoc's smurf and mine got placed in different leagues after having been in the same league in both gold and plat. I haven't checked mine yet, but Havoc's league has my main, my smurf FORG1VEN FANBOY, Joxuu, NoF4te and Vicious Skittle.

I meant tendon when I referred to the tissue that connects muscles to bones. With the neuron I meant what I think you call a nerve. Carpal tunnel syndrome sounds a lot like the symptoms I'm having, would be great if it only required some rest (it probably does, but letting a writing hand rest for weeks while being a computer fetishist and examinee is like studying for exams, you only want to do it when it's absolutely necessary).
But as mastrer recalled, I'm a spoiled rich kid that can afford to see a general practitioner just in case.
if only I wasn't pretty darn cool already :^)

I had some issues with carpal tunnel syndrome a few years back and my dad has had issues with it, so when I started feeling numbness in my hands after a day of typing (I often write reports at work) and gaming in the evening I took a look at a few things.
My desk height relative to my chair height. I got a chair that let me hold a relatively neutral position with respect to my hands and keyboard. No more bent wrist typing. That really probably helped out the most.
I use different setups at work vs home.
At work I type in Dvorak rather than Qwerty (it took about 2 months to get back to the typing speed and accuracy I had before). I started out with a natural style keyboard layout. Then I switched to an even funkier one which I like a lot Kinesis Advantage, but it is expensive (about double a good RGB keyboard).
I tried using a joystick style mouse, 3M Ergonomic Mouse for a while and that helped some. Simply flat the bones cross in your hands which narrows the channel the nerves past through. But that style mouse isn't that great for gaming and I found I had to replace them somewhat frequently. Now I just use a Logitech that lets my hand rest in a more sideways position. In the Logitech family the G700S or G402 might be close to equivalent (the one I have is rather old and doesn't even have a model # printed on it that I can find).
I do type in Qwerty at home and use a standard style red key keyboard and standard style mouse, but I've made sure my chair is sufficiently high that my hands aren't unnaturally canted.
I've found that most laptop keyboards are really uncomfortable for me to type on so if you are in that situation, you might want to pack around a natural style keyboard to try and alleviate that source of stress.
Anyway, since I made the changes I rarely have issues with my wrists/hands that I can attribute to computer usage.
pretty sure that's normal queue time for high plat+ unless you play at peak times. It's what I'm usually getting anyway
can confirm from multiple personal experiences wrist protectors do help a lot
