i play a french game and even though the main language for that game is french and it was created in france doesnt mean im going to speak french on it, which i dont i speak english on it and people are fine with it
solution to the problem, why not learn some french or spanish yourself? at least just the basics
if you go by my solution you can play support and still have fun with the game with your favorite role

Most Americans learn basic Spanish in school, yes. But it's not nearly enough to communicate well.
Some people don't learn Spanish at all. I, for instance, chose to learn Japanese.
As to the whole, "They don't speak English/the language I speak" problem, just ping twice and type mia/ss. I'm pretty sure you don't even have to know how to speak to understand that much.

SO many c*nts playing this game that will say anything to try and make you look ****. I was playing Leona and my carry was Caitlyn, she got 5 kills the whole match which meant I got **** all assists early game and ended up feeding with my low level because our mid champ never alerted us to when kayle left his lane. I had wards up, but they just happen to run out just around the same time kayle would come for us -_-

It's funny, I had some really good games with Spanish speakers. I know basic Spanish and can sort of understand most comments, it's not that hard honestly. Anyway, a few Spanish speakers have added me as friends and I play with them from time to time, we do relatively well.
The only thing I hate in this game is afkers. Nothing you can do about them but report if needed.

You don't make a good argument considering English is one of if not the most commonly used language today. And I don't think you're in a position to comment on languages with your made up word "arnt".
You also read "but are they not supposed to learn English in school even at a basic level?" as an aggressive statement when it is clearly a legit question because I am not Spanish or french and unaware of how they choose to teach foreign language in their schools. You then tried to out smart me for whatever reason you may have had and failed.
As for what I expect, it has nothing to do with it. I happen to speak Japanese which I took upon myself to learn, so there I know another language so should everyone else... If we're going by your logic that is.
Solution to my problem? Don't play a support. It is as simple as that. I just wanted to blow off some steam on a reoccurring issue I've been having lately I was not claiming that something has to change for my sake.
